hello deepak!
that's very true, and that what makes life sweeter and time important coz time pass will never be back again and we just live our life once...
as much as possible i want to enjoy my today, but we can't control things around us, things happens even if we don't want to. some days are just sad or bad days but no matter what, we can still get something from it...like lessons in life.
i always hope to live my today happily and get the best out of it, so that i will have something to cherish and remember when i am already on tomorrow...
life is so short...and so we should enjoy each minute of our life and live it to the fullest but not forgetting the limits.

Hi Ck!
I am very happy to see you here and happier to read your meaningful response. You are right that life is too short and we should enjoy our 'today', as it is not going to come again. No doubt, some of our days are really bad, we do not want to remember those days, but if there are some happy moments on those days, we should cherish those days. When you look back at your past, you will realize how beautiful some old days.

You are right that we keep learning even from bad days and this enriches our experiences.

yup, but lets also admit it that even on those bad days in the past, it also leaves some lessons in life, some lessons that helped us develop who we are today.
well what's important is that we learn.
yeah, its always great looking back at the old days...

Hello Deepak,
It is true every day is different, some days are happy and enjoyable but some are moody and full of tensions. I am not enjoying everyday because life is like that only. We have to face problems as well as happiness. So I am enjoying the joyful ‘today’ and forget about the disturbed ‘today’ later. In fact, I don’t want to the ‘disturbed today’ or I don’t want to remember it again.
Have a nice 'day' to you.

Hi Sree!
I would say that even if 'today' has some uneasy moments or you had some unpleasant experiences today, forget about those experiences, please enjoy your happy moments of 'today', those moments are not going to come again. Many thanks for dropping in.

Hi, dear.:-)
Nice to see you are posting a simple yet meaningful discussion as you always have, at least in my opinion.
Yesterday is already gone and therefore I must not think about how I spent it. Tomorrow isn't even here yet, so i don't know what would it be for me.My today has not ended yet, 3:56 P.M here, but, 3:55 backward is already part of my past, 3:57 is yet to come. Right now, I am enjoying posting this response to this discussion.

Hi eureka!:-)
Oh! Many thanks for your kind words about my discussion. I am happy to hear that you found it meaningful. . You appear very wiser and practical as you are neither thinking about yesterday or tomorrow, as both one has passed and other is yet to come. I hope while posting your response and otherwise, you did 'enjoy' your today. All the best.
Deepak

Wow that is so deep, I have never thought about it that way... I guess I enjoy everyday that I live, I see our life as a gift and every morning that we wake up from our bed and open our eyes and breath smoothly counts for me as a miracle, as god's modest gift to us, his mere humans.

Hi gaboni!
You should have thought about it earlier, if you have not thought about it so far.. You are very right that each day is a gift of the great God and we should cherish it.

I do not know if i enjoy my day today. I am losing focus as I have so much to do, online and offline. I want to finish my online jobs but offline jobs needs me, and i am doing offline job, trying hard to finish what I have to do, but i like posting on online jobs so I am here. Just this morning, there was an argument between my father and mother. I hate what my father done to my mother and I left our house with a lot of disgust with my father. When I went outside the gossipers were there eaves dropping and they were not ashamed of what they were doing. I madly looked at them one by one and they all looked like an angel, as if they look as such they are more look like this . And I am here at my job. the environment changes when i saw that I was paid $2.5 in one review site I am in. I never thought I will experience getting paid as bigger as that! I am slightly liking myself and then I came back to being busy again doing offline and online jobs.

Hi!
I did not ask how was your 'day'. I just wanted to convey that we should enjoy our 'today' i.e. present, as it is not going to come again.

I enjoyed reading about your day. But my point was let us enjoy our present, if we can, as it will not come back (please do not take my comments otherwise). Do not tell me to ignore you or your response, you are such a sweet friend.

No you are asking if I enjoy my today, as today is my today. I answered I do not know if I enjoy my today. or maybe I do not actually get it, just ignore the response if that is wrong.

That is a very interesting question deepak because the general idea is that we have the same routine day in and day out and it is the same everyday. We tend to over look the little incidents and happenings that make it different. We need something like a bomb blast or an earthquake or a festival or celebration to make our days interesting. As you rightly pointed out, it would make us much happier and at peace if we start taking interest in all our day today activities and start enjoying them - all the best deepak, enjoy your Sunday

Hi Kiran!
Thanks for appreciating the discussion. It is very true that we should take positives from our 'today', as it is not going to come again. Some of the days may not be good for us and we may like to forget the same, sooner than later, however, we should cherish every happy moment, which come our way.
Have a nice Sunday!
Deepak

He deepak! I do try to enjoy my days but to be honest sometimes when I'm at work I find myself wishing my days away...waiting for the weekeend or wishing for the time to get off work. I've thought about it several times that I wish my time away. I would like to cherish every moment but I love the moment I leave work and head home..lol.

I try to enjoy every minute of my life, but unfortunately this is impossible. We have to many responsibilities and we have to manage them, which takes away from our spare time. But when we have free time I try to relax and be positive and I am trying to enjoy life by spending time with my friends and having fun. Either we are playing football, or we go for a drink and talk or go to a party or to swim and so on. So I think I enjoy "today" as much as I can.

You se I'm in love with a wonderful man. and even when things come up that would have ruined my day before doesn't even upset me now! It is so true ,we Only have today. When I was young I would look forward to things happening. Now? I just enjoy each day as it comes.

I am enjoying my ‘now’ thank you. I have everything I need right this minute, if I take worrying about tomorrow or regretting yesterday away all I am left is right now and that is where the power is, in the present moment, today!
