Hello people......
I don't believe this.
this is the second time that i have to make a discussion about the President's salary and yet this is what i get:
"unable to post content. please modify your text to only include letters, numbers, and standard punctuation."
this didn't happened before. i hope there's a reason for it. well, I was talking about why does he have to show that money, for all i know is that it doesn't matter. despite the fact i was surprise by the increase of the salary, i still think his performance does matter than his salary.
We know he wouldn't corrupt but i doubt some of his allies. i wonder why he didn't show his check when he was still in the legislation. they say that his salary is low, so, what's the point of him showing the check if he's not corrupt, right? i hope no one asked for that share of his money because it's not that much...
What are your views.
Have a nice day.

Well he is the president, after all. I even think he's underpaid!
If we all want to get that chunk, then let's run for presidency!
It's good that he showed how much a president actually gets. That way, people will be educated that our country's highest leader is not receiving millions (unless if he steals from the kaban ng bayan).
Honestly, Im starting to have confidence for PNoy!

i agree with you there. that's still a lot if an ordinary person gets it.

I think it is not his fault but directed by the media and knowing them that they really want the publicity. I don't think it has something to do with being corrupt if he wants to show his check. I mean if he is really corrupt and then I doubt it if he could have just reveal his check or else people will think of it in other ways.

The figure on the check is not that clear but fram waht we were taught in economics the President's salary is not really that big.
I like Pnoy's being transparent. I havent heard any complaints of corruption so far. I know it's still there but at least it won't be as rampant as it would be if the Pres was doing it with them.

Hi, As what he intend showed to us, is the meaning of being a 'TRANSPARENT GOVERNANCE'. And he addresses that to all Filipino people. May we hope all his cabinets will do the same as what will he do for.

I think it's a good idea that the President did show this. i mean, if he set an example then i believe that other politicians should show their own check so that it will be compare to their own checks and balances.

I hope the president's transparency will be passed on to the government officials. Having a transparent government is a good start to beat corruption. I think they should also be transparent on government projects so the public will know where its money is going.

that is just the start but going to the root core will be difficult since these people are so good in conspiring with each other in creating controversial against the president.

Well for one he is supposed to received a higher salary but since he is single his deduction from BIR taxation was much bigger than he should be if he is married now. I think it was just a gesture to show his first salary and nothing more in it.
Why he did not show his salary when he was in legislative branch well it seems no one was interested in him at that point in time. For me it is not significant event in his life as President of the country but maybe just to kill the curiosity of the media he showed his paycheck to the public.

hello rsa,
yeah, that could have been bigger if he has a family but no matter since his expenses will be a lot higher if he has a wife and kid. i wonder if the media would start looking on the salaries of other politicians, either check or cash. it seems you're right that he just wants to put an end to speculation about his salary.

It seems that the media have nothing to report again. They are making Pnoy popular when he is popular because he is the president of our country. When I learned this one and even saw the picture on the net showing the sixty thousand something pesos as his salary my reaction is why? why is he showing it? do we ask him to show his salary to us, he is like showing he is so honest . Maybe he is, and hopefully he is, how about the people around him? how can we sure that they are honest? Or maybe he just like to show the public his salary that I wish I have. I hope he will just donate it to me because I need money.

hello grecy,
it's always been propaganda when it comes to the allied network. seriously, why the salary, when they can report something else. if this is the case, then they should be interviewing politicians and asked to have their checks photograph too so that people will have an idea how much they are really earning.

It's not his fault probably the media went like flash again and took his photo, including his check. it's the media's right to take that kind of information knowing that the president doesn't earn that much.

yeah, i guess so. hello ablbert, i believe Noynoy is not the type who will excile his sister just because the public says so. she's family and close to Noynoy and there's no way he wouldn't throw his sister like that after being supported his entire life.

Hi there. yeah I think that's doubtful that you can't post such discussion. Anyway, this is not to get you wrong,my friend, but I don't find any big deal on that showing of his pay check. Maybe he did that because of excitement. For me, it's a good sign of Pnoy's transparency that we didn't happen to experience from our previous Presidents. I think government transparency is an important factor in people - government relationship. Atleast, we're going to be aware on some things that go in their circle. I still want to know Pnoy's actual asset.
Thanks and happy mylotting!

Nope, it did say some sentence errors like punctuation marks or something. i believe there are any other things to be shown not just his salary like his job, those interviews and works that he needs to mention to.
