Is LIFE really Unfair?

Unfortunately life being unfair is a fact of life. I don't believe in what god says and there is nothing we can do about the unfairness of life. It's just the way it is but I wish that everybody could be happy even if life is unfair but sometimes it's so unfair that it's hard to be happy. We all die eventually and some people just look forward to a good rest to ease the hardships of life.

Human experience, by it's very nature, cannot be fair. For several reasons. 1) People have differing ideas of what is fair. If there is not a complete agreement as to what fairness is, life will always seem unfair to many. 2) Suppose everyone did have equal opportunity, and with a given amount of work, everyone could achieve the same things. Then, people who are not fantastically gifted would say that it's not "fair" that other people are gifted. 3) If life was fair, everyone would be the exact same, and everyone would turn out exactly the same, and the world would be entirely uninteresting.

There's another saying, "You get out of life what you put into it." Life is neither fair nor unfair. It's your attitude that will make or break you. If you have a "woe is me, everybody is mean to me" attitude, you'll get nowhere in life. If you have an, "I can do all things" attitude, you'll we successful.

Life isn't unfair. It depends on how we view and manage our lives.

I too believe that 'life is not fair.' If life is fair there will be no troubles in our life, but for me this happens now and again. Be it in money, education, love, success, etc. Before i only thought that life is fair and i managed all those difficulties which occurred money. I never knew that life will give me pain in love. But now when my only love left me behind, i feel like why am i still alive. I feel i should have killed my self a very long time back.

Life is not unfair nor fair..Instead you accept that life is not perfect.Its just a matter of how will you deal in every happenings of your life.Sometimes we feel that we are dealing a heavy situation, but you are not the only one experiencing hardships, all of us. If we feel good times, we will also experience hard times.Just look at the bright side always and face your poblem one at a time.

You see life could be fair or unfair, the way you look at it. No situation could be termed as an ideal situation and one has to fight the odds for living a good life.

I have kinda gotten over it. But yes, I used to be all about complaining about my circumstances, you know the schpeel. No money, no car, crappy job, neglectful parents - yadda yadda yadda. But now I have 2 jobs. I am in debt but working my way out of it. I don't care to complain because its just not proactive. If you don't like soething in your life - fix it! Don't just sit there and complain about it, you know?

We often see life as being fair when things are going our way. When obstavles to our dreams arise, we see life as being unfair. Life is a journey we live. It is up to us how what is fair aor unfair about it.

Maybe all people will say that life is unfair. They are going to state reason why life is unfair for them and different people have different reasons. So I guess, life is just fair for all of us because we are all having an unfair life.

Perhaps if we are up life's fair but if we're down life seems so unfair. Feeling unfair is the result of what we haven't done and think helplessly on that particular matter. I guess its just a roller coaster fun ride. Sometimes you're up at times you're down. That's life after all.

Ithink life is fair. Most of people complain everday, they envy the people who have too much money and live with luxurious. In fact, always watch the good hand, on the other hand, mabey they bear the ability and pressure?so don't say the life is unfair, how mach you pay and you can deserve.

I totally agree with "Life certainly unfair". I always look towards my hard works I've done and yet my life not being up to the standard of others who less hard working than me. But, until now, I still doing the things with commitment I have and doing the best I can so that I will achieve the level that can be up to more than others who higher from my level now. Just a hope, but at least I believe I will strive better with more hard works I did towards works assigned to me. Nevertheless, even though life is unfair, I will strive it to the optimum to make it up to my expectations.

Life is due to the things you do with it. There are always black and white. Ying and Yang. You have to find the blance in a difficult act of being. Life is life ...

This is what you feel and view of life, it's not whether it's fair or not, it's what you perceive. IF you think it is unfair, it is. It's actually whether or not you feel happy with your life or not, and you are the one who can choose whether you are happy or not, if you keep feeling that life is unfair, you'll feel unhappy and you only have ONE life, why not make the best of it? You wouldn't want to be "Oscar" from Sesame Street wouldn't you? Be grumpy and angry and not do anything and expect everything to come to you? You reap what you sow.

Hello incus99, Life may seem unfair at times but it does balance out with good that comes along too. I wish it was more good than bad but some of the bad is we bring it on ourselves or do stupid stuff that we know is wrong and we get hurt... or caught and have to apy find etc.. For me, Life is always fair. If it seems unfair, it is just what had you done, that is what you get now. There is nothing will happen without any cause. Though life isn't that simple, but that is the basic of all that. All these time, I always tell myself to be responsible of what I have done. I should accept all the bad things that happen in my life, because all of things are caused by me. Nobody else. I make the decision of what to do in my life, and I am the one to responsible as well.

Life is fair as you have already made quite a number of valid points.In life it can't always be nice and rosy all the time. There has to be both worlds good and bad. Actually life is build on contradictions don't you agree. For an example; a day and night, love and hate, peace and war. It has to be this way lest we will be leading a boring monotonous kind of life. Life is a journey and in the midst of that journey there will be ups and downs. We face challenges at times and we overcome them and rejoice.Variety is the spice of life. We have to face challenges in order for the growth to take place in our lives. Problems make us strong. We are more than conquerors and we cant be unless solving the hurdles that we encounter in our a daily basis.
