How old is too old???

I'm in high school and I don't have any girlfriend so I'm very bored

I've seen 9 years old gap in a friend marriage, she being the older one. As for me I will accept a man 10 years older, but I will only accept a man maximum 5 years younger than myself.

Happiness don't have the age gap in a couple, however when a couple have the big age gap, the people can't understand their real feeling, they often ajudge by the exterior phenomena. Actually, there has not have the limit of age gap in couples, I saw many of younger women accompany the old men, but it seemed they are happy.It is not a very big age gap that you older than the girl for 12 years, it can be accepted.

It's great that you have come up with this question. My grandparents were 32 years apart. My grandfather was already 50 when he meet my grandmother who is still 18. My grandfather is very young looking even at his age and that's maybe because he was a vegetarian. My grandmother like him because he was so hardworking. They had a happy family blessed with four children. My mother was the eldest and i am also the eldest among their grandchildren. There is really nothing wrong with age gap. It's just people who tend to create some standard regarding the pairing of couples.

One of my friends parents have a 13 years age gap, which is not all that great as time passes. Because then there is a generation gap, which is difficult to span, for example his dad does not enjoy travelling but his mom is not quiet that old and prefers to travel to meet her friends and families. When you are that older there seems to also be miscommunication and such things that can't really be fun and turns into frustration. A good 5 to 10 years is a great bet anything more than that seems a little too much and anything less than that could destroy your relationship.

More people says that there is no age limit when it comes to love. The gap is always and being issue but the heart when it sees the right heart also suited for him no questions of how and why? It is always on the go. I have a friend's parents and the gap of their age is between 19 years. The guy is 19 years older than the his wife and they live peacefully as i saw them. And they have 4 children. The 3boys and a girl. Now another couple i saw was a friend and the girl is 22years older than the guy. How? only they love each other with no questions asked but the feelings only. I can't imagine also the their situation as the girl is older but yes really is only the love can tell. And if that is gonna happen to me that i am much older that him definitely i'll enjoy the benefits of his love. Have a nice day!

for me there is no such thing as old, we all grow old physically but always young at heart, but it depends still on people, because there are some that takes too much seriously when they have a problem. we should all take life lightly.

hi chaoticbeauty! hi! my sister's friend joy was in a relationship with an older guy about 12 years age gap. but at some time they broke up after 2 years in a relationship she was 24 then and they broke up when she was 26 so the guy is 38. my sister said they broke up because joy is enjoying having a career and dont want to get married until she is 28. but marcus her bf wants to settle down because he doesnt want to wait since he has a stable job, house and cars. and since joy was enjoying her freedom from her parents she want to enjoy more and having officemates with her the same age she eagerly wants to enjoy more. but i have a neighbor they have 15 yrs age gap. they have 3 children now and they still live together and they seem look happy. so i think it doesnt matter how much is the gap. what matter is they love, respect and somewhat they compliment each other. have a great day!

ahah one that i saw in newspaper. they had 70 years gap i was shocked when read it. the woman was 70 years older than the guy. the guy was in his thirties and she was in 100 something. i was really shocked. thats disgusting. that woman is from malaysia. i dont know how can have s e x. a guy with 30 have desire for one woman with 100 something? just if he really loves her or just if she is rich but rich i dont know malaysia is not that rich country. anyway thats disgusting for me :(

WOW... believe it or not, i have seen a couple that their ages are 15 years apart... I think that is different, but not wrong...

I've personally never meet a young couple with a large age gap as 12. I've seen "cougars" on tv who date younger man, but that's tv. I know it happens, but I've never meet a young couple with such a large age gap. My boyfriend and I are 3 years apart, I thought at was a lot lol. but my mom and dad are 7 years apart. back then, it was more than normal to have such an age gap and to get married young. Now, its a little different. But good luck with that new or potential relationship.

My parent is 10 years apart. And most of my brothers and sisters married with their spouse with around a year to 3 years apart. I guess age difference doesn't matters if both really know that they love each others and commit to their role as couple who are married and know their responsibilities in their life. As for me, I still looking for the one who is really understand me well and me to understand her well. Anyway, love is blind and age seems like invisible to love. But in your case, if you considered the pro and cons of having a lovey dovey relationship with the one 12 years apart from you, then just go for it. As long as you both feel compatible with each others, there's nothing torn you apart.

Personally i've known couples with age gap of 15 years. And,it is the girl who is 15 years older than the guy. They were living for more than 10 years now and still happy with each other. I don't think age does matter when it comes to love. It is always the heart that knows who to love and who to choose. How old is too old,i think love doesn't know about age so,love doesn't get old then

Hello chaoticBeauty, It all about perspective and level of maturity that goes into a relationship. Men like older women like by 10 years and women like younger men by like 10 years.' Then there is social status someone may have money and be prearranged etc... there are so many facors and vairables in this question that you should get a lot differnet answers.
