Water can have different flavors depending on the minerals or amount of chlorine in it. I am not a particular fan of the taste of water which I find flat and nearly tasteless but my city has "bad" water as they say. Too much chlorine. Biologically we do have a taste sensor for water in our throat that alerts our body that water is on the way allowing different hormones to be adjusted so that we have the proper blood pressure and ion levels,

I in my entire life never drank water, I could not imagine sipping or drinking it for anything. Then back in Oct 2009 I decided I was going to take care of health better and said to self that if I could always have an ice tea and or a cola for my long drive home from work everyday maybe I can try water.
So I began to force myself slowing, funny thing since I drink about a gallon of water everyday and can not imagine drinking anything else with my meals if it is not with water.
The way I can describe it is that it is refreshing, thirst quenching and delicious. Hows that for a description.
By the way I was not really overweight but since I started drinking so much water I have lost 60 pounds now me and my slender skinny body are very happy with the amount of water I drink and the appearance of my skin. Thought I brag about my success..LOL

Yes water is having taste. The taste of the water depends on the geographical location and the availability of minerals in it. The taste is hard to describe. When I go home on leave I found that the water in my home tastes different from my regular drinking water.

Yes, I can feel the taste of water! Drink it when you are really thirsty, you can enjoy its sweet!
And I drank the water of Baoto Spring in Jinan City, China, I can feel the sweet even though I'm not thirty at all.
Certainly pure water has no taste, but since we don't drink distilled water, it have faint taste, sweet in some places, bitter in some places.

I'm not much of a water drinker before. Not until I was diagnosed with UTI (urinary tract infection). I don't like taking medicines so I just drank a lot of water. Now, I find it hard to drink flavored drinks unless it's water.
Water has different tastes. It depends on the container, where it was from, what process it went through, etc.
Mineral water tastes kinda sour
Distilled water tastes like electrolytes. So does the water that came from bamboos
Tap water doesn't have a distinct taste. It just tastes like tap water.
Boiled water tastes like burnt water, sometimes like iron because of the pot. Sometimes it would taste like plastic if placed in a plastic container
Water stored in a jug that used to contain juice (powdered juice mixed with water) would taste like a very bland juice. Especially for plastic ones.
Water easily adapts the taste of it's environment. even just the smell of the environment could affect the water.

The taste of water is so hard to describe. Different places actually have different tastes to their water though. Bottled water is my favorite. Tap water where I live is good, but not the tap water at the lake.
I don't know how to explain the taste, it's good though. I drink it because it's clean and it's good. (no sugar or anything)
