It's one of a kind shoe! My all time favorite feet cover and partner to my any type of attire. I wear it with jeans, shorts, slocks and even with boxer brief (lol).
I bought this Classic Black Chuck Taylor shoes in Olympic Village 4 years ago. The store was on sale so I decided to buy a pair. I named it "OLI" came from the store where I bought it. I have, I think 6 pairs of sneakers in different kinds and brands stuck in my closet but I its my OLI that I always want to wear and because of frequent use I never thought that it will last for more than a year.
Happy Birthday to my 4 year old "OLI"!
How about you?
How many pairs of shoes do you have?
What's your favorite among them?
I really want to know who among in this site will break a 4 year old chuck record!

You name your shoes? I don't. But I think its not a problem. Congratulations for your good buy. I actually have just 4 pairs of shoes right now. I even have this 1 year old unused adidas shoes. I don't really want to wear it but I would like to.

Too funny! Are you going to have a cake for your sneakers? Or will you have to have two cakes because it's a pair? Ha ha! I actually just chucked some shoes . . . one was a pair of high heels from Mexico that a friend gave me . . . I think they were given to me about 6 or 7 years ago - but they hurt when I wore them last weekend - so bye bye to them. I also chucked these bad shoes I got from Payless about a year ago. Oh - and there is another pair I chucked simply because they were getting so tattered - I probably got them about 4-5 years go after my daughter was born - and sadly these were my favorite. They were sneakers, but with no ankles - so I can just slip them on - they were sooooo comfortable. But - time to let go!! I can't really say I broke your record because I don't know their real birthdays like you do - hee hee.

I'm very much detailed about my things. I don't know why but I always keep all the receipts I bought specially those things that came from my salary. I browsed my book of receipts and I found out that this is that day I bought "OLI".

Oli is with me where ever I go. She knew all the places I go that no other people know. You're right, I knew it wont give up on me, cause we still have a long way to run.

Hello Mychickencurry.
Happy birthday two shoes
Happy birthday two shoes
Happy birthday dear sneakers
Happy birthday two shoes
I have too many shoes to remember and I have three pairs of sneakers which I wear with jeans to just walk around town or laze around in at home. My oldest pair of trainers is about two but I'm not sure when their birthday is

Oh congratulations. You are very carefree with your things and that sneaker lasted for 4 years, that is wonderful. About my shoes, i have so many pairs of shoes however they are all destroyed and some were drowned during the high flood of Ondoy. I only have one pair of closed shoes, sandals, flip flops and rubber shoes. I am not that kind who likes collecting shoes as my money is not enough for me to buy materials things.I am satisfied with 2 pairs of shoes now as I bought this one, branded and with high quality. However, I forgot how old they are.

Happy birthday to your sneaker! i can't seem to keep a shoe long enough to get old. My wear and tear on shoes is considerable. i am always getting a new pair of sneakers because they are falling apart. Good luck to your and your sneaker and have a great day together!

I have two shoes colored maroon and white and they're as the same age as my daughter; imagine 24 years old and they're still good. I keep them because they're real leather. I have a sneaker too older than yours. I bought it five years ago.

Lol! well first of all I can't believe you still remember what day you bought them. I have about ten pairs of shoes and my oldest pair I've had for about 5 years or so. Their chucks too and their pink and black. Though they're still in good condition since I wear them only sometimes and they also fit me a little tight but not enough to make my feet ache.
