I couldn't browse mylot and all my other favourite websites as there was a glitch with my desktop and it had to be formatted. What do you do to keep yourself active on such a day as you feel something is missing on such a day?

Formating a harddrive shouldn't take a full day. You can always put your time to good use clean up wash your car, do an oil change something like that.

You've understood my question properly. The basic point is i can't format it on my own.I have to get a technician for it.This takes time. What i meant was our daily schedule goes haywire.I did what you were advising me to do,spent time with my son assisting in his work.

I can help you with formatting of a hard drive. If its on the one with the operating system in it insert the windows cd and it will format the hard drive for you. If on different hard drive eg lets say d: is your second hard drive. Go into command. to do that go into the start menu. select run. Type cmd run cmd. Type format d: /u and it will format the hard drive for you in about 10min. ps d: is your second hard drive I'm sure you know what it is on your computer. Hope this helps.

Yes it is quite addictive.I too read and in fact watched a whole movie on T.V.called "Doc Hollywood" which was quite interesting. My friend and son kept me busy for half a day.No money so can't gamble.

You could pick up a book, talk to someone you haven't talked to for a while. Do some chores, go for a walk. I'm sure a smart person like you ould find something to do.

Did you reformat your Operating system of your computer? So that's happen it will lose all your session data on your browser. If you have not formatted your system or OS then it might be you clear the session, cookies and history of your browser that's why you cannot anymore see the links of your visited websites.
