Major oil companies are switching from fossil fuels to biofuels. It is said that this new oil could cut down greenhouse gases.
Yeah right.......
Look at what is happening now!
Enormous swaths of forest land are being converted to farms for growing soybeans and sugarcane -- all for use in creating biofuels. This is a disaster because it creates ecological chaos!!!

I think thats policy really not effectively because like the situation that happen in my country, many forest open to made into palm field to made palm oil. Many endanger species lost their house.
Like recent news Sumatra tiger get into that palm field to search food and the farmer just try to kill that tiger, even that tiger endanger special and should be protected by law, but they seem not care.

That is very sad to hear.
In South Africa the only wild life is either in game farms or reservations like the Kruger National Park. This I find very sad becuase the country side is just not the same without these ceratures.
We as humans take away the natural habitat of the wild life for our own selfish gain and turn it into "our habitat". This and certain other environmental issues will penultimately destroy us.
Somewhat ironic to think that we will cuase our own destruction.

We need the forests as our green lungs. Destroying lots of forests would be worse isn't it acai.
