You see, every plant and tree is different by nature, therefore, many trees could be taller than others. It depends upon the climate of a place also. If you go to any high hill station, you would find many tall trees on the mountains, they survive in that kind of weather.

Everyone and everything that God created is unique. Its the same question as why all five-year olds don't have the same height. Growth is influenced by many factors.
As for bonsai, the way I understand it, bonsai are intentionally controlled to keep the plant from growing. The factors are being controlled inorder to inhibit its growth.

that factor is what i am looking for and what these factors are can you mention them, it can't be intentional , can you control you breath or control your height to have bigger muscle and 6 pack abs without workout, it is all about those factors that you talking of and want to understand those factors

Friend better you ask agriculturist and one more thing is as a human being we have 5 fingers in one hand all are not same because each have their own specification and their feature. So may be it will also be the same. We all human being have different different faces and different attitude so may it is same as that of it.

I guess we have to ask for an agriculturist to better answer this botanical questions. I think it has something to do with sunlight.

so that means bonsai get less sunlight than redwood, is that why bonsai is shorter than redwood, then why bonsai is able to live longer than redwood some are even older than 2000 years, how do people were able to guess their age without cutting off their trunk.
