ha ha well mabey one day you may find you have crossed the border then :) i hope you do visit someday. Although i have only been once i think Norfolk is a very beutiful place to visit i cant remember where it was i was at but it rember thinking it reminded me of Scotland and holland funnely enough lol. The place i stayed had a small harbour for fishing boats and it was almost identical to a place called Frasabourgh which is not far from where i live :).
Well thank you for your post i really hope you have a nice day

Well i can say you would love it here the air is Fresh :) depends on what your Son likes to do there is loads of country side around so it just a case of go for a walk and let him loose lol :) Its a very hilly place so if you like to hike thats always available :). I have a 4 year old Son and he has a even more active lifestyle than I do he plays golf , swims, plays Rugby. Going to take him fishing soon i think and oh yeh sometimes he likes to do a spot of dirt biking at my Uncles ( he lives next door to a farm so we get to use the feild if there is no cattle in it ).
To be honest just being here and outside in the fresh air knocks them out i find that if my kids have been out all day come tea time there Zonked and the wife and I get some peace and quiet :) .
Well thanks for the post i hope youve had a nice day and of course get the chance someday to come and see Scotland.

Yes, I've been to Scotland TWICE. In fact I thought about moving there and attending Edinburgh University. Our first trip was a tour, which was great. The second was "on our own", and much, much better. Favorite place was the Isle of Skye. Want to come back and do a bit more genealogy on the Isle of Lewis and in Sutherland areas..

Did you ever get to study at Edinburgh University? as i is suppose to be a very very good place to learn i have never been myself but i always love taking a trip to Edingburgh its a very interesting city to explore lol not to mention its got the Zoo which always goes down a treat with the kids.
Well thanks for the post i am really glad you enjoyed yourself here tell me what did you think of the hospitality when you visited ?? I had a laugh a while back speaking to someone over the internet who was from the USA and they said they had visited Scotland and was treated rather rudly oh how i laughed when i asked where it was he visited he told me "Around about the bottom of Scotland in a Place called MANCHESTER" i honestly fell on the floor in fits of laughter. :)
Hope you have a nice day and of course enjoy your time on My Lot :)

Hi camo26!
How are you?
I just a minute ago posting a discussion on "a place I want to visit again", and that is Glasgow/Scotland. I have been there and i want to visit again one day. I have seen and enjoyed the movie of "braveheart".

Scotland is on my long list of countries I would love to visit! I just love reading the history of the place. Also, what pictures I've seen, the country looks beautiful!

I moved to the Highlands from Alaska in 2001. Best move I ever made. There are parts of the Highlands and Islands that remind me of Alaska. I used to visit here as a kid. But, now I am happily married and living in the Highlands. Ain't life grand?!! We go over to Skye every year for our little get aways. So nice and peaceful, the scenery is beautiful and the people are great.
Lets just hope they don't ruin all this lovely scenery by installing those hideous windfarms!
