You like music right? but do you like musical?

Woa, you confused me. Every time when I hear anything that is not noise, as music and any music is musical. Now I really do not understand the difference between music and music as far as sicence of music is concerned. To me modern music is no musiccal, like tap music and the lot. I think of classical, church hymns and opera as music and the modern rap, hi hop etc are not musical.

I love music as much as I love musicals. Haven't got the chance to watch any plays but I really want to see one. I also enjoy watching movies like Chicago, Dreamgirls, Nine and Hairspray, and of course, High School Musical and Camp Rock!Not to forget, I LOVE GLEE!!

I really love some musicals. I like more of the cult films like Repo! The Genetic Opera and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Glee is alright. I have watched it a few times, but it's definitely not something I'd want to watch on a regular basis. It's too dramatic, kinda like a soap opera to me, just with singing and highschool.

Aha, a topic that I can get into, and most people here probably can't. Most of my favorite movies are musicals, especially the old ones such as Easter Parade, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Brigadoon, Gigi, etc. Two of the best musicals I saw on stage were Les Miserables and Ragtime. Biggest disappointment was Miss Saigon. Biggest pet peeve about movie musicals - casting somebody in a singing part who cannot sing.

Of course I do. I love music, I love to sing, play musical instruments and I love to watch musical play too. It is very inspiring. I would think, maybe only very few people who love music don't like musical play. I don't know what's the reasons for musicians not to like musical plays at all.

A person can be a music lover even if he couldn't appreciate all sorts of genres. Musicals are of different variety and some people may or may not be inclined to them. A rapper can be a music lover but an opera singer may not appreciate rap, and vice versa. We are all unique and so are our musical preferences. I haven't seen GLEE yet but I sure will love productions like that. :)

I think music is important in everyone's life. Not everyone has appreciation for musicals. They used to be so much more popular than they are today. I enjoy musicals. They can be very entertaining, uplifting and inspiring.

i like music but not all genre. i choose what tv musical i watch. i like glee and highschool musical i even like camp rock and sound of music. but other than that i not a fan. i dont even like mama mia.

I don't, I find Moulin Rouge incredibly boring. Maybe I don't like actual people doing it, cause in Disney's animations it can be very entertaining and beautiful.

I like musicals, especially Broadways. They have such unique style of music that not in the radios, we seldom here these types of musics. Thats why I like them, they a sense of class in to them. =))

I love music; as for musicals, it depends on what the musical is. I like a lot of musicals, but some I don't care for depending on a lot of factors- the story, the singers, the quality of the singing, the staging, etc. A good musical can be great because it takes good music and adds additional levels to it with visual appeal/acting/dancing.

i like both. I love Sound of Music, Grease and Highschool Musical and of course the Popular Glee. when you say you love music, you have a typical likes, like you only love ballad, or rnb. Like me I like Pop, rnb, ballad and new wave, sometimes I like Alternative and rock and acoustic, but I hate Jazz. Maybe the same as your brother, maybe your brother is not into ballad, but on rock or metal or alternative.

hi ivygrey oh I love musicals as that was the only way I got to see Cats, the Magic Flute, Phantom of the Opera, Anna and The King of Siam so yes and I love music, but classical more than modern although I love jazz, and blues , and all of the Beatles, U2 and the beach boys to mention a few. I am a Mozart fan for one thing.
