Hi I am Mr."Antinoob",
My goal is to tell you new users that you should read the faqs and give you tips about mylot to help you understand more and have a better time at mylot, but you as a new user of course should get angry when I try to help you. You get angry at me for trying to explain something to you that you need to know and of course you being here what? 2 days posting maybe 10 times total know what you are doing.
Yes the star and number next to my name do not mean i have been here longer than you or have any knowledge that you do not already know from your short usage of mylot. You new user are right and you know everything about mylot because you have not read the faqs or take any tips I try to give you. Of course you may show other older users disrespect and frustration, I mean what are they here for.
-Your friend Mr."antinoob"

Now for an actual discussion lol. The disrespect from the new users is getting ridiculous now and frankly I am getting tired of it. All the older users are trying to do for all of you is show you what you need to know about mylot. We know you are new but we deserve more respect then what you have been showing us. I suggest an attitude change.

I don't receive much verbal disrespect but it is blatantly obvious that many times my help is not welcome to some. I would not be wearing the same yellow dress for over a year if it was
It is tiring to see the same questions and give the same responses everyday but I know that there are many who read and don't respond and then later they mention that whatthey read had helped them too so that is reason enough to continue

yea they usually read and thank you in their head more than through discussion i suppose.
Its pretty bad that the same discussions come up everyday by new people but someone has to talk to them.
And mysdianait your are the most help anyone has ever been for me. I appreciate everything you have done.

Hello Tap. What is this obsession with new users all about? Every day I see someone criticising noobs. Okay there are a lot of helpful people on here but there are also some people who have no time for noobs. They give us short, abrupt answers when we've put a lot of effort and information into our response while lesser quality responses from long term members get polite, friendly answers. Some of the long termers on here need to learn some manners and be more welcoming to noobs. Your help is most welcome and I thank you for being helpful but while there are people here who have no tolerance for noobs good Mylotters will come and go without getting the chance to prove themselves.

I've seen at least two 1000+ people who seem to disregard noobs so I just avoid their discussions.

hi tap0991 are you a mind reader? YOu put into lovely words what I have tried to say and could not word it right. We older ones have been called
names and made fun of and why, because we dared to suggest you read the
guidelines, the rules of discussion, the Questions and Answers to get
all the information to make mylotting fun and also to make some money.
They do need to realize we were trying to help and not get all angry,
upset and even insulting to us. we learned and so can they.

I tried it my self too advice this noobies to do what is right but I got is a private message saying "WTF is your problem" that is very disrespecting then another words is a racial discriminating words "You F***ing Asians are F***ing retards. That was too much isn't it. After then I never seen his account before maybe his been deleted because he did it not only to me but also to others who tried to correct him from his mistakes. I'm tired of this newbies.

Hahaha, great discussion.. I saw something like this a few days ago about "antinoobs" but it got deleted.. I hope your discussion doesn't. People who sign up to mylot should read this before complaining.

It does not matter if you have done it to me.Its whether or not you have done it to any new users. I understand that you might not understand the faqs and are welcomed to ask questions about it but please take the answers and comprehend them more than take offense by them.

I haven't really come across discussions where situations like these happens. Sometimes I couldn't blame new users if they make mistakes on their first attempts but once they are being reprimanded or once they have been corrected, they should also take heed.
When I was new here, I was flagged for gay-bashing. Believe me I didn't mean it. Just the wrong choice of words I guess. After that I knew better.
Oldies should also try not to intimidate newbies as you know how they get defensive.
But for me, I learned a lot from my seniors! I have deep respect for them

When I was new here I didn't get mad at older members who tried to teach me how mylot works. But I did get mad at someone who was such a know-it-all, although our argument had nothing to do with mylot. I guess I just can't avoid getting mad at someone. It will surely happen from time to time because with all the members here, there are bound to be people disagreeing and getting mad because of that disagreement. I just hope it doesn't happen too often.

I think that there is plenty finger pointing and disrespect to go around lately. It is not just newer users or more experienced users but also who does and who does not report violations of the Guidelines or who rates positively and negatively or who comments back to responses and who does not or whatever. We all have options, and we do not have to agree ... in fact, healthy debates are a good thing, in my opinion. However, respect is a must when interacting with others, and I think that many people are forgetting this lately.
