my tv is colored and cable ready now i try to connect my cable connection its not function

There really isn't much to go on so I can only make some suggestions based on what little you wrote here. Start with the simple things first. Is your cable account active yet? Have you subscribed to one yet? What isn't working...does the TV not turn on or is it just that there is no signal? Is it hooked directly to the tv or do you have a de-scrambling device as well?
