What are you most afraid of?

This may sound silly. But this is a true fear for me. I have been married for almost 10 years and divorced 8 years now. I have met men and gone out with about five a year after my divorce. the first one we dated for a year till Thanksgiving Day he came at noon for a meal telling me he had to be someplace at 2:30. He was going to have dinner with his fiance. I was shocked. He said he use to know her from the same church. Three months before Thanksgiving he and I were at the mall and he told me he saw her there. That is when he started talking to her again while I was looking at shoes. He gave her his number. That tore me up as I up to that day we were still boyfriend and girlfriend. A month later I started meeting guys again. the last four turned out all they wanted when we met was a one night stand. A year later I tried again. The first guy I went out with it was love at first site. Three weeks then engaged. A week later he dumped me for someone else. A few months later I met a few more that all they wanted was a one night stand. Than I met a guy in 2005 who I thought really loved me. We dated for four months. We just got to his home where we were going to watch a movie. He told me he had to go to the bathroom. He is in a two story home with an upstairs and downstairs bathroom. It is a three bedroom upstairs. I thought it strange he goes upstairs to use the restroom. Fifteen minutes go by and I quietly go upstairs able to see the bathroom door was wide open with him not in it. I get to the top of the stairs to find his back towards the bedroom door on his lap top with a picture of a sexy gal on the computer and him IMing her. I ran out down the stairs out the front door slamming it behind me. Three minutes later he comes out telling me he is done in the bathroom and wondering why I was outside. I told him to not lie to me. Told him to take me home and have a great evening with his computer girlfriend. He tried to deny and I told him I caught him IMing and saw her picture on the computer. it has been middle of 2005 up to three weeks ago before I ever tried to me a guy again. Middle of June,2010 I tried one more time meeting this guy from My Space who I found lived 30 minutes from me. With in 30 minutes of our meeting, he tried to touch me. I hit his hand and said I was not into that. I will not do that unless it is a man I am going to marry. He told me he understood as he is Catholic. fifteen minutes later he tried again. I opened the door, told him to get out, he asked to see my boobs and I was in perfect position where I grabbed his arm, pulled him in and kneed him hard between his legs having him craw outside in pain. So, what am I afraid of, that may sound silly. Due to being cheated on, used, and only good for a man to want a right stand with. I'm now supper afraid to date. I'm afraid to be alone with a man. With all I said, is that a silly thing to be afraid of? Afraid of men.

I am afraid of singing... i hate it to the point that whenever someone gave me micrphone to sing in front of other people, even just with my family, i can blackout. First i would tremble then, i will see lights and i just faint... eheheh!!!! funny and true!! ehehe!!

M scared of losing my mind. I see that happening soon in the near future.

I do have that same phobia.Why?No one wants to get ill,and if I touch or hug someone who is ill,then I may be ill.In fact,the people around me also have the phobia.I clearly remenber that once I had a serious disease and my classmates kept me at arm's length as soon as they saw me,and that made me unhappy for almost two weeks.

I guess, what you are afraid of is not the fact that they have diseases or what, maybe, just maybe, your greatest fear is Losing them for you know Later, they might gone or live shorter than we can. But also, maybe, just maybe, your also afraid of getting infected. Just an opinion.

I am so afraid of cockroaches. Especially the flying ones. I'm cringing just by the thought of it. .

my phobia is anything about snakes.. i can't stand snakes, just the sight of them makes me tremble. I remember a time when i was in elementary and we had a field trip, we went into a museum. i didn't know that it was an area for snakes. when i saw one, i went numb all over. i'm afraid of them because i keep dreaming about them. most of the time the neck creeps onto my neck. The creepy part is that the snake strikes my neck. i always wake up with my heart beating twice as fast and i'm sweating all over.

Phobias... I have a lot of them and the most deadly ones for me are cockroaches, spiders, any insect or fly that I am unable to identify those jelly kind of ... list doesnt stop here and goes to even all alone in the house at night... You seem to be a loving and caring friend... a difficult one to find around these days... please stick around at mylot for quite some time and enjoy out. Take Care

well there are many things that we are afraid of, one is cockroaches, especially if they are flying all over, it really gets the worst of me as i scream ut loud because of that, i really have that insect

Sounds like you've got some fears based on past events in your life or the life of someone you knew. If you didn't grow up giving and receiving a lot of hugs, it could be learned behavior.

I hate something or animals wet. It's sticky. Then I will try to stay away from wet environments and make my hand dry.

I think in my life, betrayed friends and family leaving,there are really hurt your heart.is my greatest fear

Sounds like OCD to me, my fears are a lot, they range from being afraid of spiders to being afraid of social interaction which makes me never leave the house.

Well im afraid of heights ( i guess that is something normal), of horses (i always think they are going to kick me in the head and ill die), of swimming in the ocean where i cant stand or see the bottom (i always think there are sharks or jellyfish in the water) and i guess i am afraid to be alone( i am sort of a anti-social/social person)

I have no such fears, because I know that the touch is not allowed to happen to me nothing wrong. If people repulse them physically and mentally and pushed it on me forever. They will feel bad, but when they are suffering from such diseases need to feel wanted.

we can only do things like that if we love and care the person, i'm not afraid of it... what makes me afraid of.is.i am afraid to grow old alone.thinking of it is really a no no for me.

My fear is growing old alone. Being in old age home with no one to visit me. No one to share the holidays with and no one to know I exist. I am afraid I will need surgery and there will be no one there to hold my hand. I fear that people will see me just as a bother and I will feel I am only there taking up space. Now, I am worried being alone in the future :(

i dont have the same phobia, but my aunt does. i am afraid of things unknown, like when o dont know what will happen when i do something.

I am afraid of small and dark rooms that are located high in the air. Luckily it's hard to find one.
