Are you in favor of Pres. Aquino's move to put the blame to PAGASA Director Prisco Nilo for inaccurate/poor weather forecasting due tolack of modern equipment that could transmit/gather accurate and timely data, and adequate manpower that have the expertise to assess and interpret the collected data and relay timely and accurate weather forecasting info to the public? Or the President should have to reconsider his decision of sacking Director Nilo immediately.

I am not in agreement of this, I do not think it is an easy task today for predicting what the weather will do every time. I would think a good way to decide this would be through an evaluation. This would need too be done by seeing what measures he had taken to read the weather and what equipment he is currently using

I agree with you, too. President Aquino should consider it very well and he should be more prudent or wise in making such decision due to scarcity of meteorologist in our country due to brain drain as well as the resources and equipments PAGASA is equipped with.

well it is sad, but even if with unsophisticated instruments he can overly predict which he didnt do. what i mean is even if its a less chance he should have told the public anyway. what happened in the recent events is that the advisory came to late.
