many americans seem to think that America is there own and everyone whose not american should be thrown out. looking through history, the greatness of the country was forged by its acceptance of immigrants. being an american is not a matter of faith, its a matter of shared beliefs and faith. many of those who oppose immigrants are themselves descendants of immigrants from ireland, poland, italy and many more foreign nations. treating immigrants as second class citizens, no matter if they are legal or illegal, is unfair and unjustified. im happy with how president Obama is taking up this issue of immigration. my hope is that all those opposed to what he is trying to do see the errors in there ways.

Yes Immigration is a very critical Issue today. The debate ranging in America is a debate of individualism and communalism. Communalism is where families, communities and countries provide a way, a pathway for the majority of the people to prosper if they have the intelligence, the will and the opportunity.
Many people think this may mean I and president Obama are stating we want a welfare state or a socialist state. This is the farthest from the truth. What it means is we propose that America live up to its great principles of a fair and more perfect union as it continually evolves.
Yes immigrants were the foundation of this country. In the American DNA is the land of the free and the home of the brave and the home of opportunity. America has served as the hope of the world and the beacon of opportunity since its inception and the President and all those who are progressive and understand our culture and our opportunity champion this push.
