VVS laxman gets the man of the match for his well fought 103 in the final innings of the test.
he played a superb innings under pressure, that too in a very needed time.
although sehwag has hit century in this test he was not given man of the match, but he got the big one.
man of the series was given to Virendra sehwag for his three centuries and 7 wickets that he took in the test series.
it was like a one man show from viru, he played beautifully all over the series.
he got century in all three test matches and pick up 7 wickets.
he got the FIAT car also.
really deserved one for viru.
and amazing performance from india in the end.

ya its fantastic india won this match and lavel the series . laxman got maom he shown that they have stamina we should not forget the condition from where he brings india out make india win. its shows that experience has great value. we should not forget the contribution of Raina , sachin And blaster shehwag

I think the awards were spot on. VVS Laxman deserved it for his match winning knock of 103 which really was superb to watch. Virender Sehwag deserved it for his centuries and 99 during the series, so I guess the awards were given spot on.
This also ensures that India keeps the top spot in the ICC rankings.

she it was laxman innings in the end made india Win. He played flawless innings in 5th day pitch which deserves Man of the match. Sehwag scored 2 centuries and a 99 in this test series that too with strike rate of 100+. oh thats incredible performance. He is well deserved for the FIAT car.

I appreciate the efforts put in by the Indian Team as a whole and the Victory is something that has brought me happiness. But it is unfortunate that these players are still earning too much for the little efforts they input.
I wished that the Indian Team performed well always and not wait for the final moments to clinch the Victory and draw the series. A Draw is a game lost too!
Indian team still lacks consistency and winning a match here and there doesnt make me more interested. Of late I consider watching Indian Cricket as a waste of time.

Hello,
Excellent performance by the Indian team.They have proved why they are the no.1 team.The middle order was excellent.They face the slow bowlers of the srilanan team with intelligence and patience.VVS laxman was terrifically good in his batting.This is the first innings which he played with excellence.Virender Shewag was adjudged the man of the series.Congratulations!Shewag.He has got a fiat car.Not only the batting,but also the bowling of the Indian spinners was also excellent.Altogether a team performance by the Indians.Hope they continue in this form in the upcoming test series.

VVS- here's the record on VVS winning mom. he has won 3 mom's in his test career. The last won i.e. the 3rd he has won after 2002...after a gap of 8 years...wow.

VVS and Tendulkar proved their abilities as senior players. I am a fan of Dravid. Alas! He disappointed me throughout the series except for his fielding. Perhaps this was his final appearance on the ground! Raina! Gosh! what a great temperament! The two brilliant catches - Sangakkara and Samaraveera. Finally it appears the team is getting cohesive. Bowling department is the worry. Pacers must aim at the stumps more often and avoid too many short balls. Mithun appears a good find. Lastly the awards to Laxman and Viroo are most appropriate. Kudos to Indian team.

laxman palyed superbly.it was the right decision to make laxman to make him mn of the atch.sewang really deserves man of the series.he palyed superbly.and he has taken some important wickets.finally india rocks

Indeed VVS was very very special....he has beena class act for India playing nearly 130 test matched for india is not easy to come by in days of competition. He has been instrumental in some of india's victory....he deserved the mom as it was bcoz of him india won...otherwise the result would have been different...his innings saved the day for india....i wonder when was the last time he won a mom for india
