So, can anyone tell me what is gather dot com? According to their site "Gather is a place where people come together around hot topics and the things they are passionate about. Members share their expertise, advice, and views on the news of the day and are paid for the popular content they contribute." I came across this website when I used similarsite dot com to search other websites which is similar to myLot. What do you make of it? Any members from the site? Happy MyLotting! :D

I joined the site recently. Yes, I am very impressed and interested in the way the members are cooperating and working together on things of common interest. I have not been very active on the program yet, with my full time job taking most of the hours each day. But, as I was saying, I am interested in the program and shall try to find the time to participate.
Have a nice day !

Same here. I've posted this inquiry regarding the site; however, I've been kinda stuck in my work. I'll get into it this week after all the paper work at my job has been submitted.

Ok, so since it seems that quite a few people have some experience with this site, has anyone gotten paid from them yet?
Is it a legit site? (Nevermind the other negative things people already posted)

I've been a member for quite awhile but I don't post there often. I keep getting a few points every day, so I'll leave it. I respond maybe once or twice a week to someone else's post. I think every site is what you make of it. You don't have to get in involved in the rudeness of it - just stay away from the topics like religion and politics that bring out the worst in people.

I used to be a member, but I got bored and quit. There's way too much stuff posted for no reason except to get points. Lots of backbiting, downrating, and generally unfriendly attitudes. Of course, you can stay away from all that, but if you're there just to make money, it's probably one of the worst places on the net. If you just want to share your writing and ideas, and make friends, it can be okay. Just don't say anything very controversial or you'll be shot down.
