Has anyone written articles and been paid by Suite101?

I have come across this site where one can write articles and get paid. However if I have uderstood coorrectly the revenue one earns from his writings are dependant on the readers and how any people view the article. Can anyone who is acquanited to the site or ideally been paid by them tell me whether the revenue generated is worthwhile? There seems to be no fixed rate per article right? I would appreciate any enlightenment pls...thanks :)
