has anyone here owned any ereader like KINDLE, IPAD and SONY EREADER?

Could you guys share your experience on using these types of ereaders? I know iPad is the most expensive of the 3, because it has a lot of features that will definitely distract me if I just wanted to read ebooks.

I thought to buy Kindle couple of years ago, but finally decided not to. Now I use software for my phone. I know it's much worst for the eyes, but I don't want to tote around with me one more gadget. My handbag is bursting anyway from my possessions.
But for the good of my eyes one of my friends told me that the new Kindle is now lighter and has more options as well the feeling that you read real paper book. Who knows maybe I could give it a try.
