Alertpay and Paypal

Is there reason why some ptc sites use alertpay while others use paypal? Does it have anything to do with the site being legit or being risky? Such as maybe it's hard to get an account with paypal.

it has got nothing to do with the risks. both sites are legit but it depends on the web owner. it sometimes involve the fees charged by the payment site and also the funds of the owner in the particular account. say if the owner has a lot of funds in his paypal, he might decide to use his paypal account. i hope i have been of help.
