Can your laptop carry anywhere?

I remembered when I got a new laptop last year ago. I walked almost out of my home with my laptop, while my family asked me "Where are you going with your laptop?" I replay "I am outside with my laptop for air."
My family said "No, when robber see my laptop and steal it." I listen what they said and return inside my home." They really caring of me.
But I saw the people carrying their laptops anywhere. I thought It is unfair.

Yes I carry my laptop when I go to coffee shop. I am not the only one who do that. Besides, it's safe inside the coffee shop. And when I am carrying my laptop, I don't go to other places, I immediately go home after the coffee shop! but I think robber are more into small things like cellular phones or ipods. be blessed! :)

Hello Sjawson. I wish I could afford a laptop. If I had one I might be wary of taking it around with me so maybe I'd carry it in a normal bag, not a laptop bag because that's just like telling people you have a laptop and robbers will know straight away. I'd probably just use it around the house to save me being tied to my desk while I'm online.
