Women fired for good looks?

Who knows may be his wife pressurised him to sack her coz she must have heard of bosses having flings and external affairs with beautiful women in their offices.it looks odd when someone sacks for being gorgeous or with a nice dress sense.great day.

i had a boss that used to always comment on how fat an employee was getting or an ugly outfit they were wearing. he was a horrible boss. if he could have fired you for being ugly, he would have.

Hiya T_Diamond, A few weeks back now or maybe three months back I heard that a Woman had been fired for beautiful and wearing clothes that were not suitable for her Job. In other words that she was provoking or could be distracting other People from doing their Work. I don´t know which Country this was now but I thought it really unfair for them to take this attitude if she has beauty and brains what is it to do with anyone else? She was very efficient perhaps they were afraid she might take over their Jobs highly unlikely as she was only doing one Job her own. So now do you have to go to a Job untidy, uncombed and not washed is that the code nwo? Sounds really very silly to me.

Hi T_Diamond! Honestly this is something new to me. I just can't imagine anyone being fired because of good looks. Thought that's an asset. What kind of a job that fires one because of one's good looks? What's her job to be fired for her good looks?

yeah, i've know some having the same situation. my friends had tried that. maybe me too? lolz... i was told the HR lady seemed to be envious or so then she didn't hire me. i am not sure though. i just received those comments.

It's not something that I have encountered, but I can see how this would happen. I have attended interviews where I have been smarter than the interviewer, and wondered whether that has an effect on the result.

I have never really heard of this, but I guess it does seem to happen. Still in my opinion I don't think that anybody should be fired based on their looks. Everybody has to work hard to earn a living I think that's just sad if somebody gets fired because of their looks.

I do not hear that until reading your writing . In my opinion , the good looks will help someone to get a good job easily . Good appearance is also one of abilities for people , I think .

Really? First time I've heard of something like that. Usually the opposite happens. People get hired because of their good looks.
