i don't think that is cool, but maybe they are not confident the movie is going to be good so they keep tricking people, it's kind of desperate

What I can't believe is the people buying into it! Well some of them actually really fell for each other while doing the movie. Sad to say even if they just hate pretending, they had to go with the flow. That's how things are. *shrugs

Hey abj163, interesting conversation you started here. I have to say I don't hate them at all for that. They are actors, right? That's what they do for a living, so why should they stop it outside the set when peoples' eyes are upon them? I believe that in a way, they are trying to prolong the magic of the story by hanging on to parts of their roles at premiers and other public displays. Of course it's a good marketing move, that helps them grow their ratings but it's also a way to preserve the general atmosphere of the movie they just made. If people are silly enough not to see past this kind of acting and just ...enjoy the show , it's their problem.

haha funny that i can see this all the time!! i hate it when they do this, so plastic, and untrue... what is it about them that might even have an effect to ther film!! i mean, people are too intelligent now to even want the stars to actually hook up!!

Oh God! So much! They usually do that so they would get some people buzzing about them, and so they would think that people would see their movie, This kind of marketing scheme sucks big time! Everybody knows it isn't true, I just hope they would stop doing this. I just hope artists would be responsible enough when promoting their movies.

I have noticed that, too. Sometimes it annoys me if they overact, so obvious that they are just playing an act. Oh well, I don't really mind them because seldom do I pay attention to their boobooos.
