do u use the word"hmmmmm...."when you dont wanna answer someone???

I say that when i do meditation. 'Hmmmmmmm..' and also 'lama lama lama lama lama...'

no abj as I really think its doggoned rude, how would you like it if you asked me a question about something you thought important a nd all I did was go hmmmmm like a dolt? You would probably want to smack me one right on the kisser. Why not just say Please forgive me as I am very busy now. that has a lot more class at least. maybe I should say to you when you hmmmm me, look fellow grow up why don't you?

well, just like what others says, i am also using that when i am thinking what to say! hehe and when i want to avoid a certain question, i will just say no comment or lets move to another topic. lol!

Doesn't Hmmm?? just mean you are thinking. Of course, it could mean you don't have an answer and are thinking of one. Hmmmm????

i usually use hmmmm when i am thinking or not sure with my answers or comments. if i don't know the answer i immediately say "i don't know."

I say hmmm when I am unsure or am thinking about an answer.
