Movie that you dont like but most people that you know love

Truth be said I sometimes hate movie marathon with friends.. first they watch films i really don't like but i cant say no to cause majority wins.. i could insert one or two films i like but of course that's after I have to go through the ordeal of watching movies I don't like.
I guess one of the favorites which for me is a snooze fest is the Notebook no offense to those who love the movie but the story is a cliche i know what will happen at the end of the movie it also doesn't help that Nicholas Sparks is the author so you basically know that someone will certainly die.
Serendipity i don't know why people love this film but I felt no love for the characters. I thought they are too old to be playing hide and seek that i was hoping that they don't find each other just to teach them a lesson or two.
So what movie you're forced to watch sometimes because most people close to you loved it??

One such movie that i remembre of is twilight movie with its sequels.Many of my friends enjoyed it and also some of my friends were on my side since they didn't enjoy even a bit of it. All i can say is that twilight novels are too good and interesting and so i planned on reading them without watching them at all.
So that was the only exception i had with my friends interest.

As for me, I never really liked the Twilight movies. Almost all my friends really went crazy over that film. I can't relate to them. I find no beauty in the plot really. Characters, plot, and everything in it are so commercialized. They already missed the artistic side of creating a film.

I won't watch a movie if I don't like it. If I am having a 'friends day' we all get together and pick the movie, that way we all like the movie.

When most of my peers were giving outstanding comments to Avatar (story about living in parallel worlds), I got excited to watch it as well but have to wait months later to do so due to financial constraints. When I did get to do so, I was very disappointed. It was so boring to me that I didn't pay attention anymore after watching only 20% of the movie. Oh well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

the only one i can think of right now is Half Baked. Just don't see how that movie is funny to people.
