Do you prefer new SM Town or old SM Town?

SM Town refers to the recording artists who are signed under SM Entertainment. The artists usually get together to record vacation compilation albums, specifically for the summer and the winter. The new SM Town includes groups like Super Junior, SHINee, f(x) and Girls' Generation (also known as SNSD). The old SM Town consists of groups like H.O.T., S.E.S., Fly to the Sky and Shinhwa.
So, I basically want to know who you liked more, the older group or the current group. For me, I'm a fan of the older group. They had some of my favorite groups and the songs were really catchy. I tried listening to some of the new SM Town songs and I couldn't get into them for some reason. It just didn't have the same feeling where everyone just mixed with each other. You couldn't tell that these were a bunch of people from different groups singing together. Some of my favorite songs by the old group are "Angel Eyes", "Dear My Family", and "Waiting For White Christmas".

I was still in high school. I didn't know a lot about Kpop back then but I do remember watching in TV and liking the old SM Town despite not knowing a lot of their artists. At that time, I only knew BoA but I did find the female artists pretty and the male artists were handsome. The new SM Town consists of my favorite idol groups but the thing is that I didn't get addicted to their songs as I did in the Old SM Town. The last SM Town song that I got addicted was "Let's go on a trip". Super Junior was in it but not SNSD or Shinee. However, I might change my mind in the future because I really love the new groups and if SM could bring a good concept with a good catchy song, it might be better than the old SM Town.

I was in the same boat too. I wasn't really into Kpop back in the days so I didn't know who was who or anything like that. But my little brother showed me the "Angel Eyes" video and I thought it was really cute. It also helped that the singers were really good. That was my introduction to SM Town and through that I branched off and listened to the individual groups that were featured. I really don't have anything against the new SM Town but I can't seem to get into any of those new groups. They all sound the same to me for some reason.
