That is so sad that you are not in good terms with your parents in law. Just because of that the husband submitted a divorce and they just married for a year. I just hope that her husband would at least somehow give a time and chance for their marraige since his wife is pregnant and its not good for the baby.

cindyhxf that is why here in America we do not try as a rule to live with our inlaws as two women in one house is disaster. He married her, and should cleave unto her, forsaking all others. In other words u ntie the mama's apron strings and make his own home with his wife and baby to be. What a mama's boy to kowtow to mom, and forsake his own wife. I do not blame her, mama should butt the hell out of their marriage. thats just so sad a man will divorce his pregnant wife. In my eyes he is monstrous for
doing that.

Your title of the discussion is different from contents?
I am answering on the basis of your contents. You see war of attrition and wits always keep going between a daughter-in-law and a mother-in-law and it is part of married life, your friend should take it on her stride and should discuss the matter with her husband.

I am very sorry to hear that. I don't understand why your friend's mother-in-law will let her son divorce because your friend is pregnant right now. It is always very sad for a pregnant woman to be without a husband at this special moment. It is not easy to pass the pregnant time and she needs support. For the sake of the baby, why not do something to save their marriage? Perhaps things are not so bad yet.
