Yep! Sugar is very addictive as you have found out! It is actually a much more serious addiction than those who sell it want you to know. It's almost as strong as nicotine. If you get off of it you'll have the same type of withdrawals. But it's better to get off of it before it consumes you and causes any secondary health issues!

I think if you wanna change, the decision should start on yourself. No one can help you but just advice you, but if you still want to do it, so there's no use. All yo gotta have is self discipline and a healthy balance diet. Before I was like that but I told myself I should stop and add the greens to my diet. That includes vegetable salad. It helps. But if you can't help it, there is a sugar free ice cream hehehe!!!

hi czanwell!!
LOL!! that's what i am thinking. getting sugar free cakes and ice cream or make myself free fruit sorbet. i do love vegetable salad but i also like thousand island or ceasar salad dressing with it. which is so high in calories. so what i did is. i bought bananas (to keep me full), strawberries (i love them w/ splenda) and melons (make it juice with tons of ice). so i may crave for sweets so ill just treat myself for something sweet but healthy!!
happy day to all!

Are you obese? then maybe you should. Sweet foods does not necessarily cause diabetes but increase your chances of becoming obese and obesity makes you more prone to diabetes. Just eat happily, enjoy a happy life, its much healthier to be happy than restricted.

i was obese. but i lost weight. i am 15 pounds heavier from my ideal weight now maybe due to less activities over the past 2 years. i dont work and i am a stay home wife. so less activities for me. i know it is hard for me and i worked hard before to lose those unwanted pounds. i think that may give me strength to stop eating sweets. thanks!!

If your from the philippines you can attend a health symposium in our office for free.
