hi everyone... this is my second discussion in this topic. i started this topic months ago, where there were less than 150 friends of mine... yet, i received a lot responses...so i am thinking to start this topic again where i have now more than 300 friends even more than 5000 mylotters are newly added. say, i am in your home town/city and eventually i come to know about your residence. so it makes me curious to meet you and just have knocked on your door. you have opened the door and faced a stranger. you become surprised but i have introduced myself as SHIBHAM from MYLOT. you have no problem to identify me as SHIBHAM bcoz u have seen me in mylot. what would you do then? hahaha... thanks in advance.

I think we are not friends, but if you happen to locate me, I would welcome you. (BTW, I started a similar discussion many months ago, on the same issue).

hello dear bhai, Oh that's good,at least can prepare rice since it is also our primary food here. And yes,i had two younger brother, and we are very close to each other. The only prob is that they live far from me. So,each time we had the our vacation,it is always like a younger days to us. We can stay awake the whole night just talking, laughing, playing cards and sometimes strolling in the city at night.

As I have hundreds of friends here in mylot, I can not recognize all of you. thus, I would be hesitant to welcome you in our home. But I know if someone as beautiful as the girl in your picture would come in some boy's house, then you are very welcome. lols. But now I'm confuses, you're gender in our profile is male. So if you get to know my address and come here, I won't actually recognize you. ehhe

Hiya shibham, First of all I think I would be a bit hesitant as most of us would be I think because that´s only human nature. I think I would invite you to have a cup of tea or whatever you like to drink not just tea but I don´t usually have any other kind of drink except Coca Cola mainly because everyone goes to have their favourite Drink in a Bar with their Friends or in their House also. Oh I have Coffee too but I never usually touch Coffee except if they make it in the Bar and even then I only drink half of it. Actually it would be very nice to know you but none of us really knows each other only from writing on here so it´s a bit more awkward to start up a conversation right away or maybe not. You have come up with a good one here either way you would be very welcome don´t get me wrong it´s just that being from where I am the UK it´s not the thing you would usually do (fling your front Door wide open) but hey in a lifetime life is too short so yes I would welcome you. I still have that British reserve to a point but not half so much as before (grin). What is your favourite Drink by the way just out of curiosity? Take care now as always.

hi angel... its a common truth that most persons hesitate to welcome a stranger even he/ she is known by writings or mailings. actually coffee is a fine welcome drink and in case of other drinks... bars are always available here and there.... its right that hard to understand properly a person if has not ever meet in person. anyway, i thought u live in spain but here you are saying about UK. so? by the way, my favorite drinks is tea and whisky.... have a nice day.

hi angel... it means that your mother country is UK but you lived in spain with your hubby. right? yes, some times this problems occurs.. as i experienced that i had some female friends from my college and university life.... we had very close relations with each other... but after their marriage, our relations get minimized... u may say to somebody completely nil. oh... sorry then. actually whisky is my favorite only for the evening time. otherwise curd and lemon juice is okay for me. thanks for your hospitality once again.

Hiya shibham, Common truth yes people will always shy away from others at first. Well being from the UK but I live here because I got married here my Husband is Spanish so you lose quite a lot of your reserve when you live here long enough which in a way is a good thing. The other side the downside of the coin is the negative way your Family accepts you once you have got married in this way but I bear no grudges. You like whisky that´s one Drink I don´t have. I have fruit juice too I forgot that one and milk also forgot that one too and I usually have plenty of fruit and biscuits going on top. So you would not hungry or any other.

Well i did come accross you a couple of times in the discussions..got no idea about you as a person though.so i wouldn't be shocked to find you on the other side of the door rather i would follow the phrase "Adithi Devo Bhava".you would get a nice treat...if you turned out to be a nice jovial guy then you would play some sports with me and my friends other wise .... would bid farewell lol.great day.

yeah.. sunny. i think we are highly familiar to each other through our discussions. i think "atithi debo bhava" should be used for a traveler from abroad. as we are from the same country... so no need to treat me as an atithi..right? its our ultimate duty towards them who are from abroad. anyway... what is your favorite sport/ mine is cricket, badminton and carrom. @meluan... what is this?

If I knew for sure that it was you, I would invite you in and cook you a meal. We could have a nice visit and if you needed a place to stay for the night you could use my spare room. I'm sure my dogs would be delighted to see a visitor, they are so rare in this house! Maybe I could show you some of the sights in my small town.

It doesn't matter to me if I know you from before or not. I love guests even if we haven't scheduled their visit. I will invite you in, give you something to drink, maybe a meal. I will take you around my kibbutz and show you what it is like and tell you a lot about it and answer your questions. Then we will have a nice talk about what's happening to you and what's happening to me. If you need a place to stay overnight also welcome.

hi shibham, What an interesting question, I feel tempted to reply.... Firstly, your picture would definitely not look like you because it is 2D and you are 3D Secondly, even if you managed to eliminate this problem and make your photograph looked exactly like you, I would still be suspicious because all foreigners looked alike to me. Last time I can't even tell the hollywood stars apart.

hi moon..... tempted? but why? hhaha... clever answer, so i think myself to create as a character in a 3D comic. no..... there are something different between Caucasian and Aryan. i am an Aryan. yes, i also have to suffer a lot to recognize some particular Hollywood heroes. have a nice day.

I mean I couldn't resist responding to your topic because it is so interesting. As long as they are foreigners, Caucasians or even Asians, makes no difference to me. I'm quite bad at recognizing faces. haha....

AS a newest member of this site. I hardly new you, the first thing to do would be to let you in our house. Have you set in a chair and offer you a drink or something then began a conversation with you. That's an initial reaction of someone you don't know because even if we hardly knew a person we entertain to show some hospitality.
