I can say that when its rainy season our connection always lost for a long span of days and that is one of things I hate when raining.
And when the typhoon hits our country 100% sure internet connection is down and that is one reason why some of internet surfer purchase wireless connection but for me I can't use it because some of the site I use to earn money got problem with single IP I think it called static I am not good in technical when it comes to internet.
what about you do like rainy season does your internet down when it rain?

One main disadvantage of having a wireless DSL provider is that it is prone to weather conditions like heavy rains, thunderstorms, etc.. But if you got a wired DSL provider and still got the same problems, then there must be something wrong with your dsl connection. There must be some exposed wires somewhere that causes slowdowns during rain or when it is windy. Try calling up the customer service of your DSL provider and let them send a technician to check on your cable connections outside your house.

Likewise everytime the rain falls down my internet connection also goes down, but not totally lost like yours. And its also true that when you use wireless you gonna get trouble in other site use in earning money.
Well that's life. happy lotting

For me... it has its PROs and CONs.
As for PROs, when it is raining, it really feels nice just relaxing inside your home. This is the time when you get to do things at home (or you are forced to do things at home because it's raining outside). The feeling of sitting in front of the computer is worthwhile.
As for CONs, oh well, one is internet disconnection or much worse... brownouts/blackouts.
But as an advice, call your internet provider, maybe they can do something about your intermittent connections during rainy season. It happened to me also and what I did is talk to my ISP and told them about my problem. What they did was to make underground connection for me (although I did pay some amount for my special request). But it was really worth it, since then I don't experience disconnections anymore even during typhoons.
