I did not know that Black hawk down is based in a true to life story and it is not just a film made up by the writer. Although some say that few bits in the movie was not really as it was in real life and somehow the director or writer changed it. I do not understand when some told me about it as being a propaganda as I do not really know much of the history of this story... Is it really a propaganda? what do you think? I must say it is a good movie based from majority that I asked.

The movie itself is a true and real life story based in Mogadishu, Somalia when US soldiers were dropped by a Black Hawk chopper to capture a Somali warlords which leads to a large firefight with Somali gunmen causing a destruction of two Black Hawk and that's where it's title came from. Every movies needs to be altered or changed a bit or at some point to suit for the directors point of view and for movie excitement and thrill. And for it being used as a propaganda, that just depends on a personal opinion which differs from each other.

ALl i know is that, black hawk down, is a nice war movie, and the history is real.. Of course, there are some parts of it, being made up, but it's all for the effects, and entertaining purposes.. IF not, it's gonna be so stale and boring right?? haha =D
When talking about it's propaganda, i dunno when it comes from, but most movies do have some talking points, or sensitive issues, especially when it comes to war epic films.. hehe
