The mother of James Yap finally speaks up

I saw the interview, its obvious that she is not close to Kris which is a bit sad because i think for the marriage to work you really need to at least talk to the in laws in a regular basis. They know your spouse well and could probably ask a few pointers on how to deal with him/her. I agree that Kris should stop talking already because even though she did not divulge any details it seems that she's putting most if not all the blame to James Yap.

Kris is a public figure and the only thing that can make a break up good thing is to appeal it to the public. i doubt she would do it knowing she has lawyers in her arsenal. i don't like it though but that's life. there's no way she could go to a private conversation, i wouldn't believe it. i suggest for the both to move on. am sure James will find a better person, like him a private one.

I think the more we talk about their separation, the more they become popular and the more they earn money from us. Kris enjoys being talked about so she talks a lot of her private affairs. I think she can never keep everything to herself for by nature this woman is tactless and this woman is generous in sharing everything about herself and even about other people actually. Now I just got surprised that now even the mother of James Yap wants to become a celebrity. She talks on TV and she becomes an instant popular MIL.

I salute all the mothers in this world. As for Kris and James, they can wash their dirty laundry for everyone to see. Good for the entertainment business. The couple just have to realize that they have kids. The couple could be used to being in public but i doubt if their kids are. I just hope that everything ends well for both of them.

Finally speaks up the mother since Kris no longer have mother. I guess she would somehow have respect for her mother in law. I hope she will take into consideration about this.

Well the mother obviously knew very little about the real score between the two. I did not enjoy the interview because the mother could hardly speak Tagalog. She could have talked more if the interview was done in her dialect and just translated in Tagalog. At any rate, even with her one-liner answers, it is obvious she is speaking in defense of her son. But one thing is obvious she knows not much about the two. She admitted she is always the last to know and of course her son would not want her to get involve or to have problem so James would not even talk his marital problem to her mother. But I was just wondering why the mother could not accept that James has been unfaithful. She is even trying to justify and even hinting that James is popular so it is but natural if women get involved with her. I can't buy this justification. I am not for Kris but in the spirit of justice and fair-play, it is obvious that James has been playing around and Kris could not take this so their relationship turned sour and sour. Remember the sensational Hope Centeno and then after some few months, another woman named Mayen (am I right?) got involved with James and these are just two there are so many more which are just written as blind items so Kris could not take that despite the fact the James is married to her, he still keeps of getting involved with other women. I believe Kris that all through her marriage with James she remained faithful. But I hated Kris when she even revealed about her feelings with Jhun Binay. Her tactlessness is not cute at all.

I saw the interview last weekend. it was a mother who was hurt for the turn out of events in her son's life. kris would always make news even in small detail of her life. I guess, the problem is with kris because 2 men had already came to her life and yet not one stayed. didnt she realize the disgrace she gave to her family. her 2 sons uses their dad's name and not hers. The advocacy of their family would only be stained by her. I bet, she would be an item with mayor binay not for long. The moment she opens her mouth would only lead to more embarrassment in the family. She thinks she can get away it and assume people would sympathize with her. I dont believe her anymore and tired of her litany of her life. Can somebody please make her stop.

Hi Advocate, the Kris-James split-up was inevitable. The two simply do not jibe. But the interview with James' mother must be James' last ditch effort to save the relationship. I sympathize with mothers for the pain that they feel when their children are in hot waters. But I don't think this will be a good recourse.

The moment the Kris-James wedding was out in the open some 4 years ago , I really said to myself that their marriage will never last. I think theirs was just made of their popularity and fame. As what have always known over the media that they always fight and i don't think they can resolve marital issues as what Kris usually claims after each broadcast ed fight. Well, they are the ones in the picture so it's really not our business to make it our issues. As for James mother...hmmm I guess she doesn't know much what she really needs to know with regards to the real thing about the marital life of his son. As for Kris talking.... well that's where she earns a living.. so who's stopping!!!

Wait what do you mean by James sired a child out of wedlock? I just quite don't get it.

knowing kris, she always wanted to be the center of attention and loves talking even her private life. she always wanted that people talk about her. maybe in defense of james, his mother already talk about whats happening around wt her son and soon to be ex-daughter in law.

I knew it, it was aired in channel 7. Is this one of the propaganda where one network tries to blackmail the talents of the other network. Knowing Kris, she will never speak the break-up privately. She will definitely use the media to voice out her concerns.

For me my perception to this let James and Kris handle the problem because somehow this issues gathered by different channel will affect the situation of the couple. And for me mother in law is mother in law of course we can expect to have a feeling for her son but there always be a limitation.

i feel sad for his mother. Why do James doing it to her? Moreover, I do not know everything about the interview. What I will say is that, it is vague that Kris will open up to her, or if she have a respect to James Yap's mother, then she will come to her and explain or share what happen, but I believe it is vague to happen.

Mother is mother, she is just protecting her love ones. It is just sad to know that they are breaking up, and to add insult to injury is that they are celebrity so what do you expect? Media will be proving up to the deepest part of it. I just hope that media or press should leave them alone. They are not helping, instead they are even adding pain to injury. LEAVE THE PEOPLE ALONE!!! What if this things happen to you!?

Kris only wants more showbizz to be done.

For me, Kris lacks attention. Have you noticed? Everytime there are big/great issues or events that are really talked about, she makes issues or scandals. Yes she came from a wealthy family and she indeed had had good education but that doesn't guarantee that she will have good ethics. I pity James for having been used by Kris's whatever plot. I understand how hard it must've been for James's mother that's why she spoke up.

As I've proposed before, it seems that the plea Kris gave for "privacy" before the Inauguration of her brother is NOT the primary motivation of many, perhaps to include Kris herself. IMHO, Eric

Hi Advocate, I also watched it at Showbiz Central last sunday. And yes it is very obvious that Kris isn't really close with her mother-in-law, and other than that I think she (Kris) doesn't even recognize her as her in-law. If it is true that Kris knows that James had a child before they wed, then what is actually the cause of their separation? I am really not a fan of the couple,nor an avid follower of their issue. i just happened to watch it on that day, and I just felt to James' mother that Kris and her aren't really close. Why? Because of their status? And I don't think Kris will listen to her..But who knows, if she will or not. We don't know her that well. It is just for my opinion..
