Why Mylot asks for tag when sehding private message?

Hi to all..i wanna ask you people why does mylot asks for tag even in sending a private message..let me know your views..

It is so that you can keep them tidy and find what you are looking for later when you might have pages and pages of them. When you have been here three years I can assure you that you will have a lot of them to wade through.

Ya thx now i got it when i have lots of msg pages this tags would help me find a certain mesg..

well people dont actually uses those tags here . .:P :P :P
but the main purpose was to find a relevant topic what they are looking for as a solution using the SEARCH THE WEB tab. and hellp them save whole lotta time... TAGS are mostly the essesntial one-word or group of them that describe a particular topic

Exactly my point.
If you are a newcomer, how could you possibly be so certain that "people dont actually uses those tags here" ?
