Snakes Venom - What to do if bitten by a Snake?

Hi to all, Just like in the movies, If you get bitten by a snake, should we try to suck out the venom?

I guess if your in a place where an ambulance can't come get you in time before the venom kills you....then yes I'd imagine sucking out the venom is your only real chance of still living through that experience. lol
