i love taking an examination. i fell like it is a game and whether to pass or not is the verdict. every item i answer seems the leveling up to me. i feel the excitement and the motivation running through my veins. after taking the exam, i still feel excited to know the answers and whether i pass or not. it's like i won the game or i lose. i just posted this for i seemed to have thoughts coming back these days. thoughts and memories i miss connected to my student nursing years.

Hi,
Your topic reminds me of my school day where I have
to rush to the hall to attend the examination. How nervous I am
when the teacher passed the examination paper and how fast is my
heart beating at that point of time.
It is like playing a game ,either win or lose.
When I saw the questions,my brain start to move around and my
hand start to write the answer on the paper.
When I can't get the answer, then my beart started to beat even faster and
my brain will need to work even harder to get the answer.
Sometimes, we will spot certain questions which may come out
during the examination. However, they are sometimes the questions that we spotted
may not come out,and that's the most nervous part.
No matter what, I really miss my school days.Wearing an uniform and carry
a bag everyday to school....so fun!!

It can be a bit nerve racking at times, but there is a sense of accomplishment when I succeed in completeting an exam and even more when the exam has a satisfactory result. Still, I think with exams, the anticipation is always far worse than the actual act. We sit there and bite our nails, awaiting to see what is going to happen and what questions we'll be given with.
Plus there is always that one question. The one questions that we should know and it is buried within the recesses of our mind. We cannot get the question out and answer it in a satisfactory manner. Still for the most part, its worse waiting for the exams then actually doing them and the results are pretty good for the most part. I really have no complains when I get the exam back, especially if I get an excellent score.

Hi there hushi22! I see your also from Philippines. I am also a Filipino and I am currently taking Accounting as my major. Our exams and quizzes are really difficult. I can't take it as a game unlike during my highschool days. It's really difficult to get a high score. A single mistake... and everything's ... poof ! HAHA! Although I have to admit... the feeling of mixed excitement and loneliness overflow whenever our professor is giving us our papers. HAHA! Well... that's it. Happy mylotting!

That's a very positive attitude there Nurse hushi , I also took exam as a challenge in my student days ... though I seldom fail an exam but I can't totally get over the thought of failing one.. for my consolation, I always do my best in each so that I would turn out satisfied whatever the results...I also came from the medical field and I guess, I understand that we have to conquer tons to exam to proceed .

For me, it actually depends on my readiness and the interest level in the subject. If both of these parameters test positive, I am thrilled to take the exam. If both test negative, I am really writing it just because I have to. However, I am fortunate enough not to have experienced this till date :-) And, in case only one of these conditions is true, I am super tensed and can easily sweat through the exam hours even inside a fully air-conditioned room.
In my opinion, its extremely important for a student to be able to first differentiate between subjects which are of interest to him/her from the rest and then plan for the efforts needed behind each subject accordingly.

That is the typical nature of exams. You are anxious about the exam day, about the questions and about the answers. When it is done, you are anxious to see the results, it generates double anxiety so to say!

Hi hushi22. How i felt about taking an examination would have to depend on why i was taking it. Some examinations are just more challenging than others. If we are getting an achievement from the examination, that's when i like to take examinations the most.

It's pretty normal to feel a little nervous and stressed before a test. Just about everyone does. And a touch of nervous anticipation can actually help you get revved and keep you at peak performance while you're taking the test. But for some people, this normal anxiety is more intense. The nervousness they feel before a test can be so strong that it interferes with their concentration or performance.
Honestly, I got test anxiety. During an exam I often have stomachache, or a tension headache. I sometimes feel shaky, sweaty, and feel my heart beat quickly as I wait for my test to be given out. Well, I am just so happy that I passed all my exams so far. :)
Good day to you!

I enjoy going for examinations. You know like studying for around four to five months and doing examinations for two hours, its really a big challenge in my life. Examination doesn't really mean to be passed it really counts what you have learn during your study time. I enjoy doing exams rather than being passed. It makes our mind to be strong and going through each and every difficulties.

As a college student,I hate to take an examination but have to.For me,an examination's coming means the pression of the examination's coming, and that makes me very uncomfortable. What's worse, after the examination is over,I would always worry about whether I pass the examination.but I know examinations can examine me and make me better. So,you see,I hate and love examinations.

examinations make me feel nervous enough to answer it correctly though.but your not human if you dont feel any anxiety towards taking an exam.its natural to feel that way.because i view the examination as a very valuable opportunity.i prepared for it for months, burning the midnight oil.so passing the exam is very important.that why people feel anxious during the exam because of that.its important to them.
