Best video games, past or present?

Personally, I prefer strategy war games or management style. There are so many of them but possibly the ones most I like are the "heroes of might and magic" series, I play them beggining with HOMM2, then 3, and I'm now playing the expansion campaing of HOMM 4 !!!!. Excellent games and a lot of fun, when I have some time I play one of the oldest and enjoy a good battle :D Another one of mi favorites is "command & conquer", mostly the original one and red alert. And by the way, I remembered that I don't play it a long time ago, mmmmm time to give it another play

I enjoy playing both old and new games. But it's most likely the old games that I enjoy the most since they have nostalgic value, as well as they're not all concentrented and circled around graphics that so many games today are. So from time to time I go back and play old NES and SNES games just to have a lot of fun :)

Games have improved a lot over the years. Older games I enjoy are the simpsons arcade game, xmen arcade game/really any pvp game like mortal combat, the newer games I like are more like World of warcraft or Diablo. I like MMORPG's for the other player interaction. Anyways thanks for posting!

i like playing games like contra, mario, now i'm in to online gaming and strategy games like C&C Generals, COH 1 and 2 and RPG 3rd person shooters like FALL OUT 3 and Call of Duty Series..

Mario games are for sure my forte xD super smash bros brawl is the best but super mario sunshine was the only game i ever completely beat i also really like animal crossings, and kirby i guess nintendo games are just the best.
