Essence rich is capable of giving, not those who love to accumulate wealth. For me, That is the character of the rich man.
Sorry, I did not feel pretentious to be a wealthy man. But I sometimes feel annoyed to see the beggars on the street that I think many elements of deceit. Imagine, when you walk there is a young, healthy, fit but has become a beggar who works only beg your mercy divisive. Or, maybe we can see, an old beggar, reached his hand to us asking for money even though his physically looks still nimble because when he pursued an order clerk, he was still able to run fast. Or more annoying is to see them all fighting to get a coupon (food stamps), despite having to compete with each other even elbows.
Have they no desire to change the fate or do they already think in his heart to always be a beggar?

Its not bad to give alms to beggars who deserve it. before you give, try to follow what your heart says so. This time, there are many fit and able-bodied people roaming on the streets asking for help from people who works hard to sustain their daily needs. To give help to these kind of opportunist is not also ideal, let them work, let them grow and let them strive harder to survive.
But of course, it is also a crown in heaven to help those who are helpless, give food to those who are hungry, offer drink to those who are thirsty and shelter to those who are homeless. Give to those who really deserve it, like innocent, abandoned and hapless kids and elders. Remember that giving and helping are real blessings.

Beggars, we cant think of all of them are having ill intention towards our sympathy to help them. Some perhaps those who are really successful in the past, but due to some mistakes and betrayal, forcing them to beg for survival now. And some, they just some lazy bumps.
Some of them might have thought of ways to change their current situation but if someone lost all hopes and money to start all over, it would be back to situation which make them have to beg for survival. Anyway, if we want to help them, perhaps some donations to some trusted organizations in your county which handle beggars. It's just to make sure your donations and contributions won't be use in the wrong place.

You know, begging is a very profitable business. Beggars even go on line and they now use the Internet facilities to make large sums of money easily. I know someone who has a big house, a great car but he remains a beggar and he earns more than me. Begging is a very profitable business, Beggars have put up websites so they could collect money via Paypal or any paypal like payment form. Just visit this website and you will know what I mean : http://adf.ly/44689/www.cyberbeg.com/ .
I also heard some beggars accept only cheques. Well I would like to hear your point of view about that..

Hi Advokatku!.
I think we all need to wise before giving. Honestly I never give money to beggar because its kids who need to help not an adult.
Its better to give money to pay few kids school fee than giving it to beggar who we don't know cheating on us or not.
I have an experience seeing a man, I see him really miserable he can not walk and talk so I give him money. What really surprise me when I pass the same roads in the morning I see him standing and loud out laugh with his fellow beggar. I feel cheated even the money I give is not a big amount.

I think there are two type of baggers. One bagger are who do not have any thing to eat and they want us to give some thing. So they could survive their life and happy also. But there is another one, who have wealth but just want to cheat people. They don't thank people but if they deny to pay the amount they demand. This bagger kill as well.

Sometimes begging from someone like even a help takes you a lot of guts when you ask. So let us think about these beggars do in their everyday lives. They already have no shame with it. and people who have no shame are the ones who can do most of the bad things! Try to think about that. They wouldn't mind what other people tell about them. If you have given these beggars some money they will feel good about it and they will be asking for more and will not be contented. They will just say that it is really easy making money. Let us not make them think we are ok about what they are doing instead let us make them feel the value of money by working hard for it.

I'm not sure how I should behave towards them. but yeah, many of them are cheating.
usually I would see if the beggar truly deserves our attention, by looking into their eyes. some of them are truly hungry and poor, as nobody supports them. but some others are doing this as a "profession".
I remember there was a friend telling me that he often saw a beggar (with wounds and bandage) on a street, acting as if she was in pain. very convincing.
however, there was one day when he drove passing by the street. he noticed that the beggar was using a cell phone (playing game, perhaps?) at another corner of the street. whose cell phone it was, we don't have any clue. but we finally got it: she faked the wounds.
