This thread is to discuss a certain aspect about season 3. Since the first few sentences are displayed upon posting I am typing this spoiler warning to take up that space and keep those that have Fringe as an interest but don't want to be spoiled Spoiler-free. Thank you
Now on to my point.
I hear that the first half of Season 3 will be one episode in one universe and another in the alternate universe since Season 2 ended with Olivia trapped in the alternate universe and a spy is hiding in her place in the normal universe. In addition, there are pictures that look like Charlie is working with Liv.
Any opinion on the split take? Any fans of Charlie? Do you want him to know about the switch? How do you want the false Olivia to be discovered?

I agree with Jaypeesol. Season 3 is much better compared to the other two seasons. This season has a lot more going on and viewers get the chance to understand the characters a lot more better. Like getting to know them a little deeper. Because I for one, was Team Original Universe. I mean, the first time, the characters of the alternate universe were introduced, I thought they were the bad guys.
But after watching the episodes of Season 3, it was shown that the people of the alternate universe are no different from the people of Olivia's universe. They also live out their lives the way that people from the original universe does.
When I first saw Charlie again in Season 3, I was glad. Because I was truly disappointed when his character got killed. I like the way Charlie talks. And the way he cares for Olivia. Well, Charlie was having doubts about the original Olivia. He entertained the idea that Olivia might be telling the truth and she's not really from the alternate universe.
And yes, I would like for Charlie to know the switch. He's one of the good guys and that will add to the list including Coronel Boyles, who unfortunately got killed trying to help Olivia escape back to her universe. If Charlie gets to know the truth, that will uncover Walternate's evil plan.
To be honest, I really don't like the Olivia from the alternate universe. Yes, she's a lot less serious than the original Olivia but it seems she's hiding a creepy side of her behind those smiles. And I also don't like Walternate.
I've already watched the episode where the cover of the Olivia of the alternate universe was blown. And I liked it!It's a good thing that Peter believed the mysterious phone call he got.
I do hope that in the new episodes to come, Olivia will be able to forgive Peter. Peter thought Olivia took it well when he confessed that he thought all along that he was loving HIS Olivia. But knowing Olivia, she hid her true feelings behind a smile.
But then, it went to a point that she couldn't handle the truth about what happened. The hurt and betrayal was too much for her. And she told Peter that the other Olivia took everything. It was a really sad scene.

I think it's a great move for them to do the alternate episode/alternate universe approach. It's a fresh new look at the show and it won't feel being dragged out. I think this may even be their best season yet, even better than the first 2 seasons. Not too many shows can bring out a fresh idea on its third season.
I liked Charlie but not a huge, huge fan. I was disappointed he got killed off in the past season (or was it in season 1?) because he adds another layer to Olivia's life and relationships with others, but I think with the alternate universe it means he will be back for a regular stint again. I think he'll find out about the switch eventually, and will probably even help our Olivia get back to our world.
I don't want Faux-livia killed, so I hope if she is discovered, nothing bad will happen to her. Oooh maybe she can get pregnant with Peter. ^_^
