How fast can you text? (Type your message in a cellphone unit)

I don't text much, reason being I'm a bloody slow texter. Much faster typist. I'm good with the fingers, not the thumbs.

I think that there are alot of people out there that can text really quick,i use to be able to text quicker than type,but now i find that i can type quick now.I was thinking at one stage to see if they done like a phone pad thing so that i could use that to type,as i was fast for me to text an email using my phone than doing it on a pc.

It probably depends what you call a 'word'. If he uses 'txtspk', then 20 wds pr min z proby kwt ezi 2 do. D prob z dat w wd all hv 2 lrn anodr lnguge.

Wow, that's pretty good! I mean, that's definitely faster than me! I have a Samsung Eternity so I can use the touch keyboard to type which allows me to type faster, but since my calibration is completely off, I've been stuck using the usual alpha-numeric keys to send my texts. I've actually never tested myself for texting, but I have for just typical typing on the computer, so I don't know. I don't think I'll find out anytime soon either because of my phone. I have heard of those texting type competitions before too where people go against each other to see how fast they text. It's been a while since I heard anything related to that but I do remember watching some videos of it.

i dont know how many word per minute i can do.. but i have memorized the keys already so i believe i text fast.. that is if its just the regular celphone..
