I didn't know that the pets edition was out yet. Is it as good as the pets pack for the regular sims? I used to play all the time, but now that I work a different shift I don't have time to play hardly anymore. I also seem to have a recurring problem with the sims2. I seem to get to a certain point and do something that causes my sim to die or go insane. Any ideas on how to avoid that?

Yes, the pets one has been out for awhile now. They are coming out with a new one at the end of this month too. the pets is ok. I can't really remember what the regular one was like but with sims 2 your pet can get a job. I'm guessing that your sims are dying or going insane because you aren't fullfilling their wants and aspirations. Does the doctor come from the sky and help your sim? Then thats what the problem is. its so hard to explain but somewhere on the health bar there is a thing that shows their wants. Its so confusing sometimes.

Sims 2 is a game where you create people and build them a house and pretty much run their lives. They can have kids, get a job. You have to make sure their needs are met and help them make friends. Its kind of hard to explain. They have a website if you want to check it out. Its www.thesims2.com

I love the game. Basically you create families and build them a house and you run their lives. You have to keep their need levels up while maintaining friendhips and a career. They have a website.... www.thesims2.com

I used to play it but after a while it gets boring even with the expansion packs. It just don't have a concrete goal. You'll just play and play like having a tamagotchi in your pocket. Try Restaurant Empire, it's a strategy game too but with real goals and it has an ending. Isn't that much exciting than just playing around with simulated people without a definite plan =)

My daughter plays it on Xbox. She has the original and the Sims 2. She says she wants the pet one too. If I got her that I'd never be able to drag her off the Xbox though. It sounds like a good game but I've never been able to even set a house up properly. My son thinks its hilarious when they take away your baby and the house burns down.
