I like horses so much.Horses are the most powerful vegetarian animal. Horses have powerful stamina. The word horse power to denote capacity are denoted on machines because name horse is counted as substitute for energy or strength. I have Lucy occasions to watch horses in their idle grazing time or in action time. I know some habits of horses. I have opportunity to watch horses in stable for many hours. But I have never seen them sleeping. They always were standing or walking. I guess that horses are sleeping in standing position? I never seen horses flat on stable floor in their idle time.So Horse sleeps in standing position?Do you have some information about these lovely animal HORSE?

Horses sleep both standing and in various more relaxed position. My horse often sleep more or less curled up, and comes out with his tail filled saw dust. Some horses sleep flat out on the ground, especially foals and young horses. If you see a grown-up horse sleeping flat you often see another one standing guard. One of the reasons horses sleep standing up is that they rely on their speed to escape predators, and getting up takes time. They can sleep like that because they can lock their "knees", they don't have to use any muscles to stand up.
