Which is better acer vs asus?

Which do you think is better brand for notebook laptops ACER or ASUS?

I'll choose Asus because i heard many Acer user says that they having diffulties of Acer laptop.

yes maz1207, Acer notebooks have more problems and not performing well as compared to Asus. Im also with Asus

same here with me, we both experience the same as i guess..... my ASUS laptop is more than 1 year... i operate it 12 hours a day, no absent....

Hi, karenslot Welcome to Mylot. I am an Acer fan. We have an Acer laptop that is about four years old. Albeit really behind now in terms of specs, it is working perfectly fine and still going strong. Have a nice day!

I'd be going with Acer if in terms of lightness and portability. But if for sturdiness and quality I'd go for ASUS. I'm not sure thou regarding price issues.

Out of the two I prefer Acer but even they're not that good in terms of specs though they seem to have good designs, I think the Dell laptops and netbooks are the best. Acer doesn't seem to be as popular as the other brands... though I've never personally had an Acer.

Dell is another option, but battery wise they prefer asus, but acer got the design. I guess can't have it all in a low price.

I'm using ASUS computer for almost 5 years now. For me it is ASUS because it's my first choice.

not only ASUS for the laptop, ASUS is great in desktop too.... i never clean the ASUS motherboard for 1 year, dusts and spider webs accumulating inside the motherboard and it's casings... but my ASUS desktop runs in a good condition..... i only care for my ASUS laptop, but don't treat a baby for mo ASUS desktop, it's like a slave to me....

I think you should go with ASUS. ASUS notebooks are very good than ACER with more high end specification.

Asus Atom notebooks are really nice and cheap, Acer laptops are not my type, their specs are really not that high-end, and performance wise, for me is mediocre. Asus laptops are good but not great, if you are a little low on budget, I strongly suggest Asus is the brand for you. But if you have money, try Mcbooks or Sony Vaio.

Slightly low on budget right now, so Mac and Vaio is not an option right now.A lot are saying that Asus has better battery life.

Asus is a good brand as their laptops are cheaper than Acer if u compare same configuration.Do not misinterpret cheap as low quality build as the quality of both brands is about the same. As far as support is concerned I think Acer is far better.
