Does it seem like sometimes college can be more juvenile than high school?

So after being away from traditional academics for awhile, I was astonished and ashamed at how some of the students acted when the teacher had to speak outside the class to faculty. So everybody starts being all loud and stuff, knowing there's other classes. People could be taking tests. Then they get up and start searching for the test our teacher has prep'd for tomorrow. I was like OMG! Grow up! You know? I mean do ya? Share your scholarly angst!

In many ways, yes, in fact there are times where adults in general put the most obnoxious of high school students to shame. This is really not a college thing, but rather a thing in life. Something that I am sure many will find in the workplace, much to their utter horror. Still, some people could do with a lot more maturity. You would think this would not be a problem at this point but the fact of the matter is that you would be wrong.
It is just baffling, but really in many ways not. Some people grow up, while others merely get older. I just want to backhand some people for their antics. Of course, in high school, I had to deal with quite a lot of juvenile antics. So to see things that put those winners to shame. Still it makes me want to bash my head into something. Just proves that not everyone grows up.
