Do you tell right away?

If you're just starting to date but you want to keep your field open, do you tell your partner where your head is at? I always told my husband where we stood. I just think it's fair and they can only respect you for being honest. I have a friend who is young and single. She got this guy who's clinged up on her like a pair of cheap panties. Now she's annoyed. I told her to tell him weeks ago where she stood as far as a long term relationship. She didn't. So after a month, after he's already said he loved her, after he intro'd her to his kid, then she drops the bomb. Broke the boy's heart. I think if she had of told him earlier he wouldn't have took it so hard. So do you hold em' or fold em'?

This is good girls! This actually helps dating, and makes it easier for the two sides to see if they need to move on to the next level or head on out on their own ways. Then you wont be wasting time and effort only to know that your not hooking up and end up having a relationship.

I think ya gotta fold 'em! It's less traumatic for both parties. Get it over with Early, I say! :-)

thank you for this nice topic! It would really depend on the person if I would be telling where do he stand for me. Sometimes we really should hold back our feelings by telling them what we truly feels because this might make his head inflated like a balloon. Sometimes, we just have to tell it right away if something turned us off for him not to expect that we really are into them. Most of the times I just hold it because I don't really want him knowing that I am into him that much and suddenly if his feelings changed for me then he wouldn't really know what I felt for him. I could just tell him in the future that I was also feeling the same thing for him the way he changed his feelings for me too. I hope the reason your friend who ditched the guy was not the kid thing issue because there is really nothing wrong if the guy had a past. Have a great day!
