i have heard that mccullum and vettori are missing series.they are good players for newzealand.i think india are favorites to win this match.

Like its been mentioned earlier that toss will be an important factor, although NZ is missing his key players so India definitely has an edge since they have young players who know srilankan conditions well , much better than NZ.The pitch is likely to be batsman friendly and India is having strong batting line up with Sehwag and Yuvi back and fit .Though its been a long time that India played there full strenght team having Sachin Sehwag Bhajji Zaheer Gambhir and Yuvi together, half of them are missing most of the time , either injured or rested, i hope they all are fit before world cup and play together.For this series i think Ashwin will prove to be very useful , because he has good height and gets good bounce and spin and can be as good as suraj randhiv is for srilanka.

India vs. New zealand is also no. 2 vs. no. 4 in the rankings. But what is more important is that two teams in the middle of rebuilding are taking on each other. This New Zealand team is really rebuilding with many new players. Similarly, in the Indian team many of the stalwarts have now retired and that means new players can stake their position in the team. Hmmm India no doubt at all. Dhoni is Engine for the whole team and he will manage if bowlers fails. He will do something but result will be India won the match. That much i can tell you without any doubt.
