DEREK REDMOND of great britain tore a hamstring during the 400m semi-final heat. AS he struggled to finish the rac, his father entered the track without Credentials.. and helped him coomplete the race, To a STANDIND OVATION FROM THE CROWD !!!

THis is the one of the best videos i have ever seen.. most emotional one and really inspiring .. THis video will inspire each and evry lving soul on earth .. wat say??

True. It seemed to be a metaphor between one's biological father and God.
Also there is the ever glorified human spirit that will not give up at any cost.
I recall an Olympic marathon where a contestant was injured. Limping, he reached the finish line hours after all the other runners had crossed the finish line. It was already dark but there were committee members and organizers who made sure he got to finish the race.
Though he was also in pain, he never gave up. It leaves me wondering how profound it is to experience that scene.
Though he lost the race, there is still a very good feeling. It seems to be the triumph of not giving up, of not taking the easy way out, of giving one's all.
