Top Trump cards anyone?

When I was around nine, I got a pack of Manchester United Top Trump cards, and my siblings got similar sets of Arsenal, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. We had never heard of these teams before that. We spent for ever playing with them. They are one of those treasured things in childhood.
Did anyone else play with Top Trumps? Anyone have similar sets from the late 1970s? I tried getting new sets (old one's worn out) but never could.

Hello Blueboy. I remember Top Trumps, they were a big thing back in the 70s. The boys at school all used to play with their Top Trumps cards during breaks, they usually had cars, army vehicles, ships or aeroplanes. If I remember right they came in a little plastic box. You could try looking on Ebay for another set, I'm sure someone will sell them on there.
