A Call For Death Row To Become More Green.

I think everyone should do their part to benefit the environment. So what is Death Row doing to be environmentally unfriendly? As if you haven't already guessed they use the Chair which I prefer to call it. There's no need to waste any more electricity then is necessary. So what replaces the chair? How about an old fashioned rope. Why not bring back the hanging and replace the Gas Chamber and the Lethal Injection while were at it since they also can be environmentally unfriendly. Yes, hanging is the most environmentally friendly way to execute death row inmates/scumbags. I'm not dead serious when it comes to this. Its just a thought. Do you think this idea is going over the edge?

The electric chair hasn't been used since the 70's.

Really? wow, I thought it hadn't been used anywhere for eons, since the gas chamber and lethal injections were introduced. I apologize for my ignorance.

I don't see why executions should be "humane" or why we should pay a fortune to administer them. I have no objection, in theory, to the idea of hanging.

The Hanging of Saddam Hussein - This is a photo taken minutes before Saddam Hussein, the ruler and dictator or Iraq, was hanged.
For environment there is still hope, Hang the fellows with a rope! Naturally one gets these fleeting, sometimes abstract, thoughts. Here's a pic of saddam just before the hanging.
