It is a medical term for the treatment of women who underwent miscarriages.It is a blind procedure.It means that we don't see what we are taking out inside so sometimes there are still placental tissues that are left. That placental fragments could cause bleeding. The patient might release them through the use of medications that are prescribed to them when they are discharged.
